I used to collect gingerbread men, so I have more gingerbread cookie cutters than a person would ever need, only thing is I don't collect them any more and I have no idea where they are laugh out loud

This is the service the hospital provides. They come to the room and take pics, but you have to buy them and they are pricey. 300.00 for all the pics and the discs, and there isn't that many pics. They prey upon grandmothers who can't resist Teehee
Oh, hey. I'd be all over them too. I saw that a 3 sheet package was about average pricing and you get awesome pics verses the lame a$$ shots I got of my kids. Is the hat your granddaughters or did the photog come with a bag of tricks and props? I am dying over that cap, need one for my babes.

Ooh, I want to know what the snowman poop is! Please share!
it's a classic christmas gag gift....basically a ziplock with mini marshmallows and a tag that reads something like.....

You've been naughty all year, so here's the scoop.
You're getting nothing but snowman poop!

there's lots of versions, but here's [about.com] one with printable tags.

Hopefully, all of us are getting something other than snowman poop!laugh out loud

I think I'll get just the cd for them as part of their Christmas. It's much cheaper than buying the prints from her, and they can get prints anywhere for much much cheaper. The hats I bought off Etsy (one of my favorite sites) just for photo props. the striped one is my favorite. The white one with the pink flower is really cute too..the flower buttons on and it came with 4 different color flowers so she can change it up. It was very reasonable, something like 8 or 9 bucks for the hat and 4 flowers, but I bought it back in July during a sale. Those hats are all over Etsy though. Just do a search for 'baby beanie' or 'baby elf hat' and tons will come up.

Had to go back and look - the hats are adorable! I like both of them - I am soooo going to make them for my babeh!!

Went to Kohl's tonight. DD has a dear friend in Ohio and is excited about going to see her. She wanted to get her a gift, and she was soooo excited to find 2 shirts. She used a $5 coupon and paid 1.53 oop.

I ran into T and decided not to do a big run cuz cashier selection was blah looking - well... I was wrong! Ah well - still got a good deal. Smilie

I broke down and bought some off of the bay (exp 12/25). I figured $3.XX oop gets me the ability to get *something* for all the nieces & nephews for christmas. I have a $25 gc to cover tax portion, so hopefully I won't be spending any more than that oop!

Does anyone know if you can use the $5 coupon on those Dr. Seuss books by the registers?

I've never been on Etsy - heard a lot about it though. It's probably a good thing that i don't go there - I would probably buy an awful lot too. *laugh* (or wish I could!)

Hmmm I can't wait til this maddness is over!! The running around and wrapping gifts for 5 hours at a time is killing me but my goal is ALL my wrapping that needs to get done is done b4 Friday... then of course, I will shop some during the weekend... and bring home LOTS of goodies.. then wrap those HAHA!!

So what does everyone need still for gifts? I need to pick up one laptop ( I think I found it finally), a dsi and possibly a ds... then a gc for my dad... my mom wants a cotton candy machine... then to find something for my dh's dad... other than that possibly more stuff for my brothers baby... and some sort of gift for my brother... than I am done!! YAY!!

So tomorrow if I can get another 5 hours of wrapping in, if not more I should be on the right track.. then the next day the same I can HOPE that all this wrapping will be done...
Did you see the hot deal on dsi's at bb? https://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?t=2487231

Thanks for all the well wishes. Ellie is precious and I'm already completely smitten by her. She and DD are both doing fine. Did I already post her stats? 7lbs 5oz, 20.5 in. Here's a pic:

My neice had her baby this morning. They haven't named her yet, she weighs 7lbs 3oz and was 20 1/4 inches. Here's her pic:

Both moms are at the same hospital, so visiting will be easy Smilie

I however, fell down my stairs this morning and I think I broke something, like my big toe LMAO Of course I fell down the stairs....I'm always running at 100mph and not paying attention to what I'm doing...now I'm paying the price. grrrrr
CONGRATULATIONS on the newest additions to your family!!! Sorry about your toe though!! Ridiculous that hurting such a small part of our bodies can cause so much pain!!!

What to get for a 12 year old nephew that I really don't know that well?? Does everyone have that one side of the family (the in-law side, of course that they don't really "know"?

Haven't even started wrapping and I'm SO dreading it... Been candy making and I need a nap. :

I'll make candy, you wrap presents. Sound good? I've made toffee, chocolate caramels, chocolate caramel pretzels, coconut clusters, and (my fav) marshmallows dipped in hot caramel and then rolled in rice krispies. Yummy! The marshmallows melt just enough in the caramel... yummy Still have fudge, peanut brittle, and mints to do (and another batch of marshmallow caramel krispies, cuz they seem to keep disappearing...)

Ohhhh all that yummy candy , you've been busy

Finally found my sony e reader $50 off at best buy. couldn't EEK!t do any better.

Everytime I think I'm finished it's just one more thing ,sigh

Haven't been to Target since the 2/3 q fiasco, I'm just infuriated.
Hope I'm not missing anything.

Teri, there ougt be a law, cute baby , new grandma, expensive pics = explotation ,sky high prices laugh out loud

BTW Am I the only one that gets so behind they start reading this thread backwards ????laugh out loud
