Went to Kohl's tonight. DD has a dear friend in Ohio and is excited about going to see her. She wanted to get her a gift, and she was soooo excited to find 2 shirts. She used a $5 coupon and paid 1.53 oop.
I ran into T and decided not to do a big run cuz cashier selection was blah looking - well... I was wrong! Ah well - still got a good deal.

All in all, they made $650 worth of transactions in a matter of 2 hrs. Mostly $50-$55 worth each time. I don't know much about debit card theft but wondering how they did this with her being in MO and the transactions taking place in CA. That's why we were wondering where target.com ships from. Thanks for your help. I feel so bad for her, especially right here at the holidays.

She isn't responsible for those transactions is she ? I think the bank should put those funds back in her account. My bank will with my Visa debit card., I think they call it fraud protection , it's a free feature of the card.
