At my house, the better gift would be THEM staying home with the kids and ME going out shopping
Tradition in our family was we got to open ONE GIFT Christmas Eve before bed, and it was always sleepwear, so that pics the next morning would be something cheerful and new and not some ratty old T-shirt my step-sister would sleep in that no one wanted a pic of
I knew she was a couponer from the first item she placed on the belt.. Many, many sonicare TB, then tons of oral b toothbrush heads, some crest white strips, braun stuff, I mean alot of items.. Huge stack of coupons.. Cashier told me 3 ladies were together and each had totals in the 900.00 range before coupons.. Order was paid for entirely with coupons, and a big ole stack of gift cards (the generic target ones). I noticed she did add a GC or two to the order as well.. And, at the end, requested 3 or 4 gift receipts.. So, DH turns to me out of the blue and says "is that so she can return all this stuff she got for free?: I told him I hope not

Baby has not been wanting to sleep tonight... and I just found out why.
How can such a little creature create such a huge stink???
And is it bad that I'm considering sneaking her back into her crib, sliding into bed, and asking DH to check on her??
Missin me some meshee tonight.
So I had to take a pregnancy test tonight as per OB's orders to make sure it's negative. It is. So sad. Amazing how in just a couple of weeks things can go from happy excited to sad and gloomy.

Today is officially buy 2 TVs day. I've decided the fam in TN needs a big screen TV and I'm buying one for myself too (same model). This way, if I run into technical difficulties, someone that I know on the end of the phone can help me.
If you are curious, I'm buying the Samsung 670 46" that's in the Best Buy ad. Definitely NOT a Slick Deal, but at this point, I don't care and they just need to get bought.
We are having lunch with Santa today and we woke up to a blanket of snow covering everything outside!
We found out yesterday that DS is an awesome sledder! He runs and jumps belly first onto the sled and goes down the hill by himself...he has even learned how to shift his body to steer. So fun. Hope to get outside later if the temps get above 30 degrees.

Today is officially buy 2 TVs day. I've decided the fam in TN needs a big screen TV and I'm buying one for myself too (same model). This way, if I run into technical difficulties, someone that I know on the end of the phone can help me.
If you are curious, I'm buying the Samsung 670 46" that's in the Best Buy ad. Definitely NOT a Slick Deal, but at this point, I don't care and they just need to get bought.
A friend was getting one for his MIL the other day and found one at KMart. He is a Sony fan and found a nice 40" 1080p LCD for $584.99. We will never have another Sony product if DH has his way because of their 6 months warranty. Several years ago we bought a Sony TV and it died at 7 months.
We have had a Samsung for 3 years and have not had a single problem with it. We also have a 42" Panasonic Plasma. We had costly repairs on it last year and have had it 3 years also. Great picture but is a lot heavier than a LCD and does put out some heat.

I didn't get much sleep. DH kept me up snoring last night.. he must have been really tired.. Went to sleep around 3, and my toddler had me up at 6:30.. She hasn't sleep a full night in over a week.. But, the Keurig is going and I am having me a wonderful cup of vanilla coffee (thanks Rachel) with some SF caramel syrup (thanks tootsie for the torani info)
Gonna head out soon and hopefully get by target. I need some bakeware
