I've got a White Chocolate Cheesecake in the oven (hint L2BaM for what to do with a springform pan), as apparently TN may get a flake of snow, so the SILs family moved Christmas up a day. I didn't get off from work until 15 til 6, but I've been running around like a mad woman since then. I made the mistake of going to the other Sam's in town and nothing is where it should be, so I walked and walked and walked. I never found the heat resistant spatulas or Diamond in the shell walnuts.

Amen on the rep in the lounge, as cathi saved me some big $$ mentioning Cracker Barrel and the Yankee Candles, as they had 8 scents that were half price AND I still got to use the B2G2 Q. Four large candles for a little over the cost of one. Definitely a slick deal! Too bad we pay pre-coupon tax, as that adds quite a sum of money to the total.

Tried to get some cookie sheets & muffin tins-->FAIL

Spent a lot of money at T tonight. Found some last minute stocking stuffers...5HR energy drinks (for DH) and some Disney vitamins. Also found 1 last Grinch PJ set in XL for DH. He truly is a Grinch this year. It was like pulling teeth to get him to make cookies with us tonight. Sigh.

Anyways. Will cookies taste different if they are made with light butter (stick) instead of regular stick butter? I grabbed the wrong box and can't fathom going back to T or the grocery store tomorrow.

Has anyone used the Rosetta Stone software before? My dad has been asking for it for a while now...but it is freaking spendy, even on e*bay. I am wary about buying it.
Sorry about the pan failure.. I have only gotten some when my usual jedi was working..

Is there a deal on the vitamins? Or, just getting them cause the kids like them?

I have had many homeschooling friends who highly recommend the rosetta stone program!

I had some of a previous version of the Calphalon cake pans and I like them. I like the covered ones A LOT.
Thanks for the numbers..

My plan is to stay in all day and make Xmas candy and a yummy dinner of steak, crab legs, baked potatos, and corn on the cob, but you never know....I may need a short break from all the family time.LMAO
I was hoping for a different family code as well Cool

I know! We're still waiting on one for dh's phone. From June. At one point I told them fine, just take it off the bill. They can't do that.
Sprint customer service sucks! DH is has to stop by at least once a month and make them fix stuff on our bill. They never help when he calls but they will if he goes to the store and makes them.

Quote from Thrifteh :
I will do anything humanly possible to avoid dealing with Sprint directly. You'd think they'd treat customers of 15 years a lot better considering all of the competition out there. Sprint is notorious for horrible customer service. :annoyed:

Standing in line behind a mom that doesn't speak English and the daughter is translating. OMG! This is gonna take forevah! I mean my kids are half Hispanic but for crying out loud their father is trilingual.

Can someone bring his pregnant lady a farking chair? This is gonna take a while! :unclesam:
You would think, we have had Sprint for a long time and they are still a huge PITA.

I hope you found your chair.

Me too. I want to shop today and or tomorrow but no such luck, boo.

Ugh. I've been cleaning all friggin day long. Then I had to go buy christmas dinner, then I had to clean more, then I had to sort laundry, do dishes, sweep, mop..etc.

I still have to clean my room, put up all the clothes, vaccuum the entire house, sweep & mop both bathrooms, put the damn ornaments back on the tree, wrap about 75 presents, blow up an air mattress cause my brother & his (psycho) wife are coming tonight, clean the kids' room AGAIN, scrub the marker and crayon off their doors, walls, and beds. All of this before my clinically depressed mom, stepdad, and schizophrenic step sister arrive.

Don't worry, I have enough Zoloft and Reynold's Foil to go around.
oh my .... pass the Zoloft please ....

On the Xmas candy making list tomorrow: Oreo balls, chocolate dipped pretzels, chocolate covered ritz and peanut butter, Pretzel/Hershey's kiss, M&M "thingies", chocolate chip cookies, chocolate covered peanuts, and Ank's marshmallow caramel krispies. Should be a busy day!

I am joining WW after Xmas (seriously). Anyone doing the new PointsPlus program?

Big fat fail here on the cookware tonight. Sigh.

Does anyone know if the new P&G Q for buy Aussie/HE and get Aussie/HE styler free excludes trial sizes? And the $2/1 Olay Q- any size restrictions?

Try again before you give up. Smilie

Nothing special with TRU. Took SIL there (the psycho one) to get their kids some christmas presents. Got there and there was barely anyone in the store. I thought "score!" but SIL is sooo friggin sloooow that we were in there checking out, 25th in line. I wanted to scream.

Then I went to target and spent money on more crap. Bah humbug.

So excited. My mom is coming tomorrow. Yay!

Yawn Morning everyone !

Was hoping to sleep in a little today because I know it is going to be a long day, but my DD had other plans.. She woke up early this morning. I think today may be a coffee filled dayLMAO Oh well, atleast I can get an early start on the baking.

I have made peanut butter hershey kiss cookies, pretzel m&m things, rice krispy treats, and that chex mix "muddy buddy" stuff.. today I am going to make some chocolate chip cookies with reeses cup, sugar cookies, and my toddler and I are gonna bake and decorate a "Happy Birthday Jesus" cake..

The oreo balls sounds interesting.. Don't think I will have time today, but may try those another time. Are they difficult to make?

Also, I need to make a hashbrown casserole to take to my MIL tonight.. I am bringing that and a desert to tonight's meal.. Can't wait, we have a candle light service at church at 6, then off to the inlaws to celebrate CHristmas.. Then home to get Santa ready.. Might squeeze in a target run right before churchCool

Up too early here too, though not as early as you! Wink Went to bed pretty late and of course have a full day today. Oh well, guess I'll be running on the sheer adrenaline I get from the excitement of seeing my dd at Christmastime Big Grin

I count WW POINTS but that is about the extent of it....but I use the old program with no intentions of going to the new. Have never gone to meetings, just got ahold of their info. a few years ago, learned how to count POINTS, and use info. online to do it myself. Usually after the holidays are over is kind of a letdown but I am definitely looking forward to it this year in that there will be much less tempting food around; only lost a couple lbs. since Thanksgiving.

Ooooh l2b we did our Happy Bday Jesus cake yesterday and are eating it today....LOL told my inlaws that's what we are having when they come over this afternoon/evening...didn't think we needed yet another dessert. Was trying to come up with something more I could do at home to accentuate the meaning of Christmas at home with a 2-y-old and that was all I could come up with besides the Christmas story, etc......I am so not creative laugh out loud

:wave5: Hey guys, we are back form our H2Opark to GWL trip. We had lottas a fun! We went to the Charlotte Motorspeedway where they have the largest Xmas light display, It was great to sit in the car with all the kids on our laps and hanging out the window gawking and lauhing. Then once the trail of lights was over you got to drive on the actual racetrack - ya know, the one that is at a 45% incline/slant. My DH was driving all whiteknuckled and yodalling like a cowboy, DS#2 was screaming WaHoo with his hands in the air in the back row middle seat while DD#3 is crying with her head n her lap, and I almost broke the 'Oh shit bar' off the new car. He got it up to 85mph ion the short little area we got to ride.

Then we went to Ikea, which used to be one of my fave places but only found a couple things I might have even wanted. We had dinner at GWL it was $100 + tip and AWFUL! But the kids had a great time playing. I would not recommend the Charlotte GWL. It is tiny compared to the Poconos PA GWL.

I think I might have to go out today, I got the $10/20 while on Vacay and still need to get to RA, they don't have ANY in Charlotte & I had a B.U.G. runat the T there. They figgin ladies yanked the coupons out of my oldests hand while my back was turned loading the belt and fugged eberything up and changed all my ottos. :p

Morning, everyone! Wave Gotta get started on my orange crescent rolls. I'm cheating this year - using good ol' Pillsbury instead of making my own. Big Grin

Looking forward to a fun, busy day! Dropping off tons of donations at the shelter, joining the hordes of people shopping, and then seafood feast at friends of ours. Then back home to open one present and then get the kids in bed and finish getting ready for Christmas.

Have a lovely day, everyone!!!
