My niece came down here with an apparent stomach bug. Has spent the past three days off and on puking. Now my 2 year old is puking. I see this as being an epidemic in my house within the next 48-72 hours.

It's snowing here and has been most of the afternoon, .Blowing like crazy and driving visibilty is the pits. They haven't plowed yet I guess they are waiting for it to stop.
We a were only supposed to get six inches, but I think we have already gotten more than that . I Have cleaned off the car twice ,and it doesn't look like I touched it.
Did make a short run to Target and clearance was rather drab, Ziploc, bounty and other paper goods were gone.
All I got was wrapping paper at 50 % off and some brownie mix.
Have a feeling that dept is going to be wiped out by tomorrow, for the look of it this morning I did much better last year at 90%, but I really don't think it's going to last this year.
No bath and beauty sets in site .
I can't ebven imagine the kind of snow some of you are expecting.
I did go out for a short drive this evening, people around here are chicken ,and the roads were empty . had a little fun and came home
Now I'm happy to be all warm toasty and will give my NEW keurig a workout.
Had a nice Christmas and am glad it's over. Now for the after christmas letdown

Thank you to my SS...your gifts were the best!! I got the Wizard of Oz dvd!!! I got a couple of really, really nice ornaments for our tree. Some coffee, a cute coffee mug, socks, candy, a very nice Hallmark initialed note pad. A coupon binder!!!!!

Question for you. . . I got a license plate HOLDER for my car from a friend for Christmas, but it says Alumni on it. I did not graduate from that school, so I'm thinking about taking it back (and getting something else I need instead). I kinda think that if you did graduate from this school, you can flaunt it, but not graduating from there and advertising that you did is kinda misleading.

The trip to Ohio was nice, but I am soooooo glad to be home.
We took forever to get home because of the storm and going through the mountains last night. Got home and put Mavis down to play for a few minutes while getting situated and brushing my toddler's hair after her bath. Next thing I know, my 3 y.o. is saying "Mavis is sitting up." I kind of laughed, and was like there's no way... but then realized something out of the ordinary would prompt her to say something like that. Anyway, I lean over to peek (she was somewhat out of view because of DD and the coffee table) and here she was on her belly and pushing up on her arms like she was a big girl. The little stinker successfully figured out how to get her elbow out of the way and roll over onto her belly and I missed it!! Worst part is that she's done it a couple of times today too - and I have missed it each time!!
Of course, she now thinks she's a big shot. I'm going to be so sad when she starts walking.
I gave my 3 y.o. a little 35 mm camera that I had gotten at WM on clearance a long time ago (it was part of a kids gardening themed thing or something). Anyway, she's been having a blast walking around and pretending to take pics of everyone. She snaps a picture then looks at the camera and says "Ohhhh, how cute!!" *laugh*

Oh yea - and TODAY I get the "Give Jolly, Save Merrily" booklet in the mail with the $15 TGC w/$150 purchase thing on the back. ???? The back says it was to be delivered between 11/24-26!!!!
there wasn't a prescription gift card coupon in this week's ad by chance was there?? got a bunch of those to fill and only one q from a mailer. plus I'm sure they're putting me back on Zantac or Prevacid or something that's OTC and of course I have none of that on hand
sorry for the venting I feel like absolute crap and really want to be well for T. shopping this week!!
