Hmmm, maybe the girliest movie you can think of. Shirley Temple? And add a very yummy movie treats. That you love. And he hates. And wrap it in lots of tissue paper with pink curly ribbon.

Most of the Christmas stuff is out of the yard. I have a row of 10 2' tall little evergreens that I don't think I could out even if I tried but they are nearly buried in the snow so they don't look too stupid. The ferris wheel and merry-go-round are still out there. I just couldn't do anymore today. The m-go-r has twisty stakes that go down through the base, there is absolutely no way I can twist them out (frozen). I may straighten the top loop, lift the whole thing off, and hope I can bend it back to use next year. Had to stop. My pants were soaked and my back is screaming.

Everything is now piled in my small garage to defrost and dry. I can barely get the van in but crowded stuff up on purpose in case we get some freezing rain/ice. What I really need is for all of you to bring your blow dryers and come over here and blow dry all this crap. I will keep fetching coffee...

I left my evergreens and white lights in the window boxes and the wreath on the door on purpose and they will continue to light up all winter. Left my blow up snowman out too -- nothing Christmasy about him and he's cheerful.

Our general rule had been to take the christmas decor down the weeked closest to DHs b-day in early Jan. The one year we lived in the pocono mountains we got snow storm after snowstorm and piles and piles of snow and snow drifts to make it even worse - That year we had Xmas lights up until the end of March.

Good evening meanies.

So my 2 year old had the stomach bug, then my 7 year old son and 4 year old daughter. Last night me and my sister both got sick and are still sick today. I consider myself extrmely lucky, I haven't thrown up. Just horrid horrid body aches, headache, nausea, and well, the other not so fun stuff that comes with stomach bugs. My sister, on the other hand, she's bad. She's got it all and then some. Frown

The only ones left are Dh and my baby girl River that haven't gotten it and I pray and pray they don't. I guess the good part is that the kids aren't missing any school for this and other kids at school won't be infected.

DH has been so so sweet to me through it all. He has gotten me meds, drew me a bath and washed my hair, found clothes for me to wear, and watched the monsters so I could mostly sleep the day away. He's so wonderful to me. Smilie

Went to target yesterday and I so badly want one of those lighted palm tree's. If anyone can snag one at 75% off I'd gladly pay you cost + shipping.

I don't do the bottle at all. Christmas and Thanksgiving, when BK is closed, I'll drink canned Dr. P. Still not the same. Stick Out Tongue

OMG Dazzled I am going to be SWIMMING in k-cups after today....I got in on this deal, long story short you bought two $25 certificate for $10 Groupons for this place (purchased with free Groupon credit thanks to SD of course) and then ordered through the site. I purchased two and was able to use them both in the same order and use them toward shipping costs too. 4 boxes x 24 k-cups ea. = 96 k-cups.....and $4.01 was my total OMG It was kind of a fast deal to get in on though and nobody knew until today that you'd be able to use them all in one order to save on shipping.

They've already shipped Smilie I got SOOOOOO many for Christmas too between DH and my mom and my inlaws who all know that I use them. I am finally stockpiled!!

ETA: Oh and I tried my Torani SF Vanilla syrup today and it was yummy I can normally tell the difference between regular sugar flavor and anything that is 0-calorie and with this I could not shake head They past my test for sure!

Are you planning to give a play-by-play? laugh out loud OK, how 'bout a summary at least Wink

Don't have cable, will have to see if I can find it online somewhere after it airs.

That's TLC...I love HGTV and I did find that HGTV has an iPad app in which you can view all of their shows for free Smilie And now I will never get anything done ever again.

hey slowtech - now that you're back, maybe you can update our wiki. Teehee

tootsie - somehow I lost you in my multiquote - my best friend and I have done the one word thing for the last few years. My favorite one was "balance". She just emailed me and told me her word for 2011 is "strong". Mine for 2010 was "nurture" - new baby, dying father - it seemed appropriate. I told her my word for 2011 was going to be "shenanigans". Not really, but BFF thinks it's a riot when I use that word, because she knows I'm up to no good. I'm still trying to figure out what I should use.

Ok friends - I need your opinion. I was planning to do a nice 1/2 day shopping marathon on Saturday, because according to how T typically marks down, that's when Christmas should go 90%. Weeeellll... if you read deals today you saw that almost no one had 75% today (and like half the posters were from Jax, WTF is up with that MOT2?). Anywho - should I still plan to go on Sat, or do you think I should wait and go on Sunday? I really am just looking for a reason to make DH watch the kids so I can wander around a few stores looking for some hidden jems. I'm not really hunting for anything specific. Thoughts?

tootsie, i am a twatwaffle. a booby twatwaffle, forget not.
bunnies, brat i ain't. i is as above. and always unhelpful, make no mistake.

lisap so sorry hon. hug
dreeme, hug hope you feel betterah.
slowt, Blowkiss welcome back!
dazzled, wrap it back in same wrapper, put a return to sender label on it, and give it to him as his bday present. end.of.story. OR, how about a snowshovel? a mopbucket and mop and cleaning solution? something houseworky that involves back breaking work and would be great for you to have a clean house and sucky for him.
ank, hug suggestion: try soaking in an epsom salt bath to reduce any inflammation and also if you have a hot water bag or thermacare, do some hot compresses along the neck shoulder area to loosen up the muscles some.

cathi, how are you doing?
dia... how are things?

all those feeling ickly i hope you feel better fast.
had a rough rough pain filled night. and a difficult day for a number of reasons. got tons of cleaning left to do for guests, but i am in so.much.pain.

2 more days of this yucky year, right? 2 more days.
and then maybe next year will be better? i am hoping.

you guys, posted on deals, but do you chatterboxes know, please? if a gift is returned with a gift rcpt, does one get the shelf value of the item, the lowest sale price of the item, or whatever the person paid depending on whether they did/did not use tqs, did/did not buy in a sales tax states etc.

i have no idea what they paid, or the sales tax rules in effect or whether tqs were used or when they purchased. would be nice to know how much to expect. gracias!
