Ok, I just finished the tou-pon show. Nothing like a little TLC to make myself feel totally normal! Those people are wack! The first lady obviously has an addiction, and I'm pretty sure she knows deep down inside that there's something wrong with her. I LOVED the nurse. I loved that she stopped and helped people in the store. I loved that she said she only really shopped for what she needed. That's how you sustain for 34 years like she has. The kid in the dumpster made me sick. The last guy just seemed annoying. I hope they do another one. I tried to set it up as a series and my DVR wouldn't let me, so I guess it will be just 1 show for now. I for one would LOVE to see a show about Extreme Coupon Haters... we could try to check out with 2 like coupons in a tou-pon nazi's lane.

SAME said walmart made her wait quite awhile on Sunday while they decided whether or ot they were going to let her use all of those q's....I was there and heard it all and also overheard employees going on about her and shaking their heads (they weren't really loud, I just have a good ear and was paying attention Wink).....why are some people clueless? Huh I can tell you this much: they do not get a 'kick' out of it. Neither does Walgreens here. They are just threatened by the fact that she WILL call corporate on them and the stores have little control over it so-they-say....and little backbone too Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Did you notice how well dressed she was to go jump in a dumpster? I've grabbed Qs out of the newspaper recycle bins, but that's about it.

CUSTOMERS get a kick out of it and it starts and stops there. When I moved here, I went to a Publix and had a LONG convo with the manager about what I could and could not do. He made it very clear he was lenient with couponers IF they were respectful of other customers and left enough on the shelves for everyone else. He also made it very clear that leniency would not continue if it was abused. Clearly, these people abuse it (except for that nurse, who was really quite enjoyable to watch).

if you read more posts it seems like the justification for a lot of the behavior is donating things....and she does....BUT that does NOT take into consideration other shoppers and the stores' needs as well. We definitely have -some- obligation to that.

Kind of makes me wonder if someone will be there next week to greet her. When I pick up my papers from the gas station and take them to the recycle bins, I always check the bins (they are newpaper and cardboard box only) but I don't climb in. I do have to admit, though, that once my daughter did. There were a couple new bundles in the bottom of a nearly empty bin. She was also 18 or 19.

I don't root through looking for single sheets. I am looking for whole papers. Preferably full bundles still strapped together or stacks of leftover papers businesses dump. I used to find those regularly. I would really like to know where that newspaper person went.Frown

I don't usually want huge amounts of something even if it is free. But, quantity is sometimes a question I have. How many is too many, is it ok to take them all, what if "all" is only 5? For most stores -- anything other than KMart of HyVee -- I have to travel more than 100 miles round trip. A little over an hour there another hour back. But every once in a while there is an item that I want a large quantity of and I always feel guilty. Air Wick candles is one example -- I had 18 or so coupons, I used them all in one trip. There were still some left on the shelf and in back but I still felt kind of greedy. I ended up with another 20 of those coupons and used those all at once (at a different store, we were traveling) but I know they had at least another 2 cases of each in back (after what I took). (No, it wasn't your store TM4D)

I have HE and use regular detergent. The sales people even said it was ok. You just have to learn how much you can put in. It's much less than you are used to using. charmin = cvs during bonus buys month.

we use charmin ultra soft and refuse to use anything else. Cool

i got tons of it in jan this year. we're still using it. and there's more stocked up for a family member who's moving and needs the help. i think i've only ever gotten 2-3 packs of charmin at T when they had a sale on it or maybe it was on clearance.

keep an eye out on DS forum for cvs bonus buys thread. should be popping up soon. and read up on cvs faq before then if you don't cvs, so you understand how that store works. maybe even start doing some deals next few weeks to build up some extra care bucks so you can roll.
i used up the last of my bucks so i'm starting from scratch also and i will help out any of you with tips. i heart cvs
