Well, so far no new puking, no fever, and she just asked for a banana... Maybe it was a fluke? She is complaining that her legs hurt and won't walk up/down the steps - but I am thinking that may be growing pains.

Hopefully this day doesn't turn craptastical.

Not sure if I had mentioned it, but I started Mavis on rice cereal on Wednesday. She gave me a confused look but did eat it. Yesterday, I held up the spoon and she went wild with glee and even sat there opening her mouth like a little birdie! Somehow, I think this one will not have any weaning issues. Sadwalk

We are looking into doing IVF in order to have my sisters eggs in my body. So expensive. Better to do a shared risk program where we get 3 cycles of tries. I applied for a job @ my local grocery store 2 days ago. I want to call them but what do I say?
I've applied for so many jobs over the past year but I haven't called any of them. I need a job really bad so I thought I would start bugging the places I apply at. Should I ask to speak to the manager?

You have nothing to lose by calling. Ask to speak with manager and let him/her know that you are following up on the status of your application.

I agree with Cathi, sometimes toddlers like to go on eating strikes. It's a battle here a few days each week. And yes, monkey toddler would rather have a candy cane or piece of chocolate than eat his lunch but we don't give in. He will eat when he's hungry, or offered the right food. He loves peas, has passed over candy for peas, so that's what I usually offer him when he's being difficult.
