And did you see that she was trying to SELL them to someone on there?! So much for donating Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

I mean, don't get me wrong, I know a lot of us GS stuff but ummmmmmm raise your hand if you've GS'ed 550 J&J FA kits??? That you probably bought in one or two trips?

Facepalm
Yeah, after reading those posts ,she has got to be a re-seller , or she is a serious hoarder,
orr maybe she's lying ???

I seriously can't imagine a Target letting her pull off those kind of #'s.

However she did have a friend that "used " to work in walmart that was in charge of ordering. Claims they no longer carry trial sizes of p&G products cause they got tired of her ordering boxes of them. How nice for all the other shoppers in her area Frown

Ok, none of the Sonicare I bought today had the sticker. Just regular box barcode which is 075020803009. The TQ's did NOT beep and attached to each one on receipt. These were the
HX5351/46 models.
Guess I'll be trying a stickered one sometime this week to test my theory. Wish me luck!

i'm guessing you pay tax after mq in iowa? i don't do many deals like razors b/c my state taxes pre-mq which makes shelf-clearing much less attractive. cheap or free sometimes is really not that cheap.

i won't buy trial sizes to sell b/c you cannot charge more than .25 and it already cost me .07. not worth all the effort to make .18 on an item.

I would like to ask a favor please. If anyone is still wagging full time could you pop in here and give the heads up on a good, especially a MM, week to get back into it. I am only half heartedly sticking with RA and that is because I have so many +ups and my 20% makes it the best place to buy milk, so I'm slowly keeping them rolling to get my week supply of 8 gallons of milk. TIA!
If you have a way to get the $4 Sinex Qs - keep those in case they go on sale for $5 again before the 31st.

They have a Vicks deal:
Vicks buy $15 get $5RR, buy $20 get $10RR
The deal is supposed to go through March.
The Vicks Sinex was on sale this past week for $5. So 4 of those with $4 qs cost $4 - get back $10 RR.
They are back to regular price this week. So not a MM. But don't get rid of any Sinex qs in case the $5 price comes back this month.

If you need kids vitamins - starting 1/9 they have:
Lazy Town Complete multi w/DHA Gummy Bear 60's for $5 - with a $5 RR. Not a MM, but free (after RR) if you need them.

They also have Lysol Healthy Touch Hand Soap System Cucumber for $11.99 with a $7 RR that week and there are printable $3 Qs.

I usually try to keep in mind that Free = 90% off. Sales tax isn't quite 10%. But as long as I keep in mind that a free $10 item actually costs me $1 - then I am deciding "Do I want to pay $1 for that?" instead of thinking like it is free - and having to pay $1 for it....
Medical and food are low tax in my state - so free is almost free.

I've applied for so many jobs over the past year but I haven't called any of them. I need a job really bad
Quote from Louise62602 :
I am so behind on everything .. i have to pay rent and car insurance..after that I have no money left!
I just applied for a job @ Shoprite ( a differnt local grocery store).. I hate that store.. I never shop there becuse they always have birds flying around..yes birds..no clue how the hell they get in there but every time I've went there I always see them. I hate birds, I am scared of them.. I feel like Im gonna have a panic attack when I see them. BUT i need a job so.. lol
Quote from Louise62602 :
I called, asked to speak to the manager..she says " not hiring" blah Frown I'm gonna call later and ask whoever answers the phone if they are hiring just to see what they say!
Quote from jteef1 :
So - why call if the manager has already said they aren't hiring?
Even if the manager lied - she/he won't go ahead and hire you just because you can prove they lied.
Even if whomever answers the phone says they are hiring - that doesn't mean that whomever answers the phone knows what they are talking about.
Or if whomever answers the phone says they aren't hiring. The manager already told you that.

keep moving forward... not back.hug

ETA: Now calling again in a few weeks - it might be useful then...
But calling just to see if the manager was lying might be wasted energy that could be better spent worshipping coffee or something. Worthy
I apologize for offering unsolicited "advice." Though I meant well, and didn't intend to be bossy - I also realized that my response didn't seem to take into consideration how frustrated you are, and how overwhelmed you probably feel.

Though I didn't intend to invalidate how you feel - I am afraid I may have come across that way.Down

You didn't ask for advice. You told us how you felt.
Instead of validating your feelings, I offered advice.
I apologize.Blush3

If I was looking for a job (especially if I was desperate enough to be looking for a job at places I didn't even want to work...) and the manager told me they weren't hiring, and I suspected that they were - I would be tempted to call the store and double check too.

Morning All. I think I will pack the kids up this morning and see if T is 90%. Plus I cleaned out my binder last night and did some printing so it might be a nice organized trip today.

I feel the same about RA. I have $150.00 in UPS and no clue what I am going to do with them. I wish they sold Keurigs.

Went to Target last night. Did good. Got DH some boots. Got some Christmas presents for next year. Got a few birthday presents for the kiddo's. Went passed the Keurig. Slapped the keurig on display shelf. Felt better. Checked out. did good.

I have a binder, my SS gave it to me. I keep looking at it but I am lost as to how to organize it.

nod I even checked this out after I read that and yup, less P&G Mad

Now.....Scratchhead If the store liked you, why would they do that? A normal person would go through a normal thought process and hopefully deduct that maybe, just maybe they DO NOT like me. laugh out loud But she still thinks they love her.

There are one or two other GS ads I've seen in the paper around here for reselling. I need to get on the ball next year and pay attention to the gs ads and go check them out. If nothing else so I can see who the other shoppers are Evil I am guessing hoarder on this one. And yeah, T. here would never allow it and I'm sure that is a major part of why she does not shop there much.

shake head Nope. Tax is before coupons here OMG BUT she has repeatedly said in her posts that WM lets her use overage to eat tax Confused So, on a .97-.99 trial size item she'd be paying .06 sales tax and if she used a $1 q would get .01 of that back.....not counting any other overage she had. Dontknow

I think she SAYS a lot of things.....
But ain't NO way....
Geez - her report on how she bought 62 shampoos, one at a time, with each one printing a Register Reward - and that it took her 15 minutes (because she just happened to have exact change on her for 62 identical transactions when she just happened to find the 62 bottles on clearance...) 15 minutes??? Ain't NO way!shake head

Heck! I bought 57 beneful incredibites and 20 tic tacs the other night and it took longer than that for them to scan all the coupons - without paying in between - and without getting 62 RRs.

Felt sorry for the couple behind me. As soon as they came up behind me I told them "You might want to go to another lane. I am using lots of coupons and this will take awhile." They should have listened.....

ETA: By the way, I am not a shelf-clearer by nature. It was at the Commissary, it was the last day for those coupons, it was closing time, and there was still PLENTY left when I was done....
But I did get $8.80 overage on the tic tacs and $28.50 overage on the beneful Smilie Commissary policy is FULL face value. NICE! (Some of the cashiers still don't like it though - but they have to follow the policy whether they like it or not...)

I think she just exaggerates.....I've definitely seen her buy some of this stuff and seen the empty shelf space plenty of times too.

If anyone gets greenies for their dogs - they have a coupon for $10 off a 27 ounce tub of greenies dental chews at coupons.com.

Petsmart also has a coupon for one free individually wrapped dental chew on their site for Petsperk members.

I don't know how I picked up saying 'oy' so much, but I like it for some reason.

And I've been a complete bum all day and have been watching Degrassi and enjoying the high school drama, except it's filmed in Canada and I'm realizing how much their accent on words affected me when I lived in Ohio. I never realized I say 'sorry' like a Canadian Big Grin
I like oy cause it just fits...seem like the best way to express it especially in public, and just change the tone ,and it gets the mesaage across.

Kinda like yada yada yada LOL
