an sd'er definitely hit my store today. finally hit 90% off. all the hot cocoa goldfish were gone from the reg shelves and then would you believe i found an opened bag on a clearance endcap nearby??? so i'm thinking it's a reseller.
they took all the seasonal scotch tape from the tape aisle and even the holiday command hook that was on the hook above but in the back. i didn't do a good job there. they did a sloppy job this time so i did find some tape mixed in w/ the reg priced. but they didn't find the etch-a-sketch i had tucked in there though
bought 6 of the bike bags b/c i figured if i cut them in half, they make very cheap drop cloths, trunk liners or whatever you might need a plastic sheet for, for .35.
found at least 3 hooks full of the mighty beans, all series 2 except 1 pack. only bought 3 series 2 and the single. wondering if i should buy some for my neighbor's son at .29 and the neighborhood kids b/c i know they are into them? i didn't buy for bff's daughters, even though i know they will like it but they have immature 2.75 yr old brothers and those things will get lost immediately. i gave the boys thomas trains for xmas and they lost the tops of the coal cars immediately.
found one chocolate mousse dark choco w/ cinnamon and 3 intense mint dark lindt bars right at the front of the shelf. the package has stars on the top above the word Lindt in gold.
2 red velveteen pillows mixed in w/ the reg pillows. there was a pretty green *silk* pillow w/ embroidered pointsettas but it was stained on closer inspection
bagged honey roasted cashews were 1.49
they still had tons of the 3pk bikinis and thongs in the sq silver boxes at 2.50. don't think they will go 90% off.
i saw a whole row of those trumpettetoo socks and a row of booties above 2 rows of carters xmas thermal pjs for infants and toddlers. it was all only 30% off. some of the pjs were just striped (scanned as elf) and didn't say anything xmasy so will be keeping an eye on those for when they go 75% off.
maybe i never noticed b4, but they had valentines day socks inc the ones w/ toes and the mary jane slipper socks for girls. bff's daughters bday is 3/1 so will be keeping an eye on those along w/ the tees for 90% off..
no winetags in PA b/c all beer and liquor has to be purchased at a state store. SIL learned the hard way on black friday when her grandfather wanted a heineken, not samuel adams and she had to buy a whole case
i'm sure the couponers did a lot of planning b4 they made their runs to get the best possible outcome. that first crazy woman said that was going to be her biggest shopping trip ever and then she didn't know the registers can only do 1,000 items. any sane person would have split it up into several transactions. there is nothing to gain and a lot to lose by running it altogether like that. i already have a hard time checking my supermarket receipts for $50.
Did someone say they had a document going of all of the stuff to look for holiday-wise??

For you Keurig peeps, I was in Walmart today and they had the 48 packs of K-cups for $20. They were in holiday type boxes. I have no idea if this is a good deal or not, since I don't drink it...

I had some peelies last year when they canceled all the orders. I just saved them. I sent my sister and two of my friends flowers for New Year's - and they credited my orders. I ordered the ones flowers with free delivery and no service charge. I almost sent my sister candy - but dang - they wanted $14.99 to ship the dang thing! Nope. She got free flowers. Wasn't paying $14.99 OOP to send her free candy...
I also found I had left 2 pieces of candy in the candy box I kept. They had melted and then hardened, and will make an interesting specimen for an archeologist some day.
I DID have luck in getting a cashier to adjust the price of the Christmas Dingo dog snacks to $1 (from $7.99). Only picked up one bag though. But every time I go - I pick up a bag - take it with me to checkout - and ask them to reduce it for Christmas clearance.

Behind some tampons? Upright freezer section, bottom shelf, way in the back. Although, I don't thinking freezing is particularly good for coffee. How about somewhere in stationary, again, bottom, back.
Think I'm gonna open those cocoa goldfish and see what the excitement is about. Disappointed that I only found 1 bag of them.
Anyone need a few Kohl's $5 coupons? I got 12 in my inbox that expire Saturday and probably won't use half that many.

Although I've about givin up on 90%, and everybody bought all the lights out at 50% which is really the only thing I would actually need to get. Oh and a Mr. Christmas, but T doesn;t sell it. It is the thing that you plug your lights in to and it sychs them to music. Lowe's had one for like $125 but I just couldn't justify full price and I totally spaced on their clearance.
I so hope the snow doesn't start again. I want to do some shopping!!
