Did anyone else get the Babies R Us coupon in their email for a free reusable bag, then stuff it with clearance and get an addtl 40% off lowest clearance price? Gonna go on Sat and see what they have. At the very least, you get a free bag out of the deal!!

The Vice Principal was not shot in the head (see this is how rumors start, Mini head this from friends) but twice in the torso. Must have hit vital organs. The Principal is in stable but critical condition. It is very very sad.

No, my daughter does not go to school here. She attends an all girl private school on the other side of town, but has a few friends that go there.

Well good you should now have enough suave for a good profile pic over at AFC....assuming you saw SC's? And what kills me is that she is so hung up on this "why should anyone else care that I have 498 of 'x' item" that she can't see that most of us probably don't care about how many she has but rather the manner in which she is obtaining them. Have not been over there yet this morning, will have to do that momentarily

Apparently I forgot to tell dh about the gift set incident...the look on his face was priceless. He was ticked....guess I'll have to bring him along shopping next time I think there might be an encounter

Mine was STILL 75%. I can't hardly believe it, just got back. I found one pair of lone N&N pj's for dd @ 75% and just went ahead and bought them since I haven't found many at all this year. That was it.

Finally made to target today.. Went to the one on the other side of town and it was finally 90%.. went either today or possibly yesterday.. All of the stuff in the Christmas section was junk.. I only got 2 packs of sweet tart candy canes for DH.. but, I did manage some hidden things.. 2 pair of N&N pjs for my toddler and a 2 pack of carters pjs for next year. Found a polly pocket, 2 toy cell phones, a thomas train, and the mighty beans in toys.. This store already has 3-4 aisles of toy clearance going on. One row is already 50% including the princess table and chair sets I bought a few months ago.
Hit my regular target and struck out on everything.. Some one hits my store hard.. all 4 pegs of the mighty beans were empty.. every bag of goldfish was gone even though there were tons the other day. All I managed to find was a bag of godiva coffee (which I will give away) and some scotch tape.

Funny toddler story of the day.. we went and picked up our stuff from the co-op group thing we are in.. we get food and other random things once a week. Anyway, I was late getting there cause I was at target

and an older man in the group had already started sorting stuff and so I didn't see what was in my box until I got home. He had place a box of tampons in there.. Anyway, my toddler was unloading all my target bags and thanking me for each item I had gotten her. SHe started digging through my box and pulled out the tampons all excited and said "thank you mommy.. thank you for buying this for me'.. then she opened up the box and told her daddy "mommy bought me popsicles"

Its okay.. I bought it when that wonderful 50% off princess coupon was out and got it for the same price anyway

But, I am sad that I thought it was such a great deal then, and now it is being marked down anyway

.. There are a ton, they will probably make it 75%

When do we think 75% is gonna happen....next week or the following? I was thinking next since it seemed like about the same time as last year and someone had mentioned the date it was last year which would coincide with it being next week? My mom is hopefully going to help me shop this year since it is quite the big overwhelming day for me

Didn't know this thread existed until last Sat. But having a ton of fun watching all the drama going on. I would go over to AFC and catch all the goings on, but I signed up over there a couple of years ago and have never been back since SD is so awesome. Now I don't remember my userid or password. I'll just have to assume it's been hillarious via the comments here. Love this thread!!!

I keep forgetting to pick up some Bar Keepers Friend. I use a stainless steel scrubby on mine too and it works really well, especially on the insides. I have to admit, I have darkening and yellowing on some of the outsides too that I need to work on.

I buy Chore Boy. They come in a two pack for a couple bucks so they aren't expensive. Just make sure you get stainless steel and not one that just looks like it. Those suckers rust in a day. The Chore Boy last forever.... unless you run them down your garbage disposal. That shortens the life span.

Try used stores for a new insert. We have a couple store around here, I would bet that I could find one for a couple bucks. I have found replacement bowls for my mixer for $1.50 - $2.00. I have stopped buying them now that I have 3 small and 3 large.

We are taking care of Miss SC over there and having fun in the process

I forget are you on the east or west side of town? I think she shops *mostly* over here and on the east side if applicable though I know she does not hesitate to go over to the west side if necessary. Might be why you haven't seen her...for some reason I was thinking you were on the west side? Sightings usually occur at this Walgreens and Walmart and the one Hy-Vee we have in town. Collins HV is closer for me anyway and I am that direction more so that is typically the one I go to first but I frequent Marion too for various things.
