It isn't that kind of a call in. The letter specifically states that it's just to check to make sure there hasn't been any change to the court schedule. Not uncommon for schedules to get switched around this time of year due to the weather. I am just speculating but I would also think there is a fair chance that I will be selected. This is a small, sparsely populated rural county where everybody is related to, married to, or knows everybody else. I am not from here, have no relatives or in-laws here, and don't know anyone any more than to say hello to. I do rather hope I don't end up on the jury for the murder trial that is scheduled for March 1. Not that I mind serving, it will just be a big deal around here, there will be media coverage and I don't want involved in the hoopla.

That leads me to believe you need an office for some reason, so you would be using it for that anyway. No reason not to use it for storage too.

monday it was the post man bringing me a certified letter and got to see me in all my booby twatwaffle glory.
then couple of days back it was the maintenance man doing a welfare check on me.
then today it was the fedex guy. his eyes grew all wide as he brought me the box. i later looked at myself in the mirror and realized the white ribbed tshirt i am wearing is just a small bit on the transparent side (just a wee bit, but enough for him to witness circles EEK! ). laugh out loud


what can i say? i'm a booby twatwaffle. with frizzy hair. and a hot water bag in hand. a major limp and a grimace. hopefully that will thwart the pervs.

so what i'm saying gt, is keep me company in the land of the floppy, the home of the unrestrained. LMAO



thanks all of you for your kind words and prayers earlier. a week after ax when i went to my doc for follow up he gave me a month's worth of meds and said get back in touch after 3-4 weeks, anticipating that much pain. it's been 2 weeks since that appointment, so I figure I got a ways to go yet.
have prescription strength anti-inflammatory, OTC pain meds and prescription muscle relaxants, plus 2 homeopathic remedies. but i'm beginning to see there's a reason they all wanted to prescribe narcotics. which i can't take.

slow and steady, slow and steady, right? i'll get better. soon enough. till then i get to appreciate the value of being healthy and whole.

take care of yourselves, you guys. and be ultra vigilant on the roads. too many loonies flying about.

Well, I need an office to talk with you guys, and do my crafting. I currently have an office in this house but it is technically the laundry room and the hot water heater room and doesn't have a closet so it in no way could be considered and bedroom. and I only cleared the shelf of a whole dozen available bags of goldfish. Sadwalk I guess I am just a lame SC-er.

If you remember I had issues with paypal in Nov. I filed a complaint with the BBB and they are still saying it is my fault they didn't follow there procedures...but are giving me a credit of $70 which is 1/2 and not to expect anything like this in the future...wth

Never fear, GG, you are not alone. I am wearing a long dingy used to be off white nightgown with blue flowers and gray, err, I mean pink footies. Somewhere along the line, I put on panties. Meant to mention this earlier, especially for those of you low carbing. Target has Tyson Grilled and Ready meat strips on sale for $2.50 and there is $1 coupon (01-02-11 SS). They are 6 oz. packages. There are a few different ones -- strips and cubes, beef and chicken.

I was going to say not a great way to buy meat, but actually that's under $4.50/lb. and with the price of meat lately... Anyway, handy to have around to put in salads, etc. for the dieters.

I searched and searched for an expiration on them and finally found where it said 5 days after purchasing. That's helpful. I put them in the freezer and figured I would just get it out as I use it.



We got a little snow last night, around an inch, I think. Winds are really getting nasty. In town, visibility is down to about a block. Yuck. Don't know what it's like out of town.

I'm fixing to try making my own, with my little bitty George Foreman grill. Publix had skinless/boneless chicken breasts for $1.99/lb today. I also had a Earth Fare Q (competitor) for a free lb of chicken. I've got two pkgs of chicken in Dale's seasoning in a large ziploc right now, hoping to start a production line here in a bit. Grill the chicken, let it cool some, slice into strips and then once cool, bag them in individual ziplocs and put the ziplocs in a larger freezer bag.

When our refrigerator went out at work, it was not replaced, so taking my lunch has become a challenge for me. Hoping this will help, as I can add it to bagged salad (L2BaM, I'm listening) and call it lunch.

tn,i've found, often when using the george foreman grill the pre-grilled frozen chicken when defrosted tastes tough/very chickeny.
my workaround: marinade the chicken, then you can put away in fridge or freezer in zip bags or glass or plastic storage containers. take out from freezer/fridge in the morning and place on GF grill while getting ready/eating breakfast etc. the cold chicken keeps the grill from overcooking the proteins on the outside/burning the outside, and also prevents toughness/chickeny taste.

kudos on making plans for healthy lunches!

Some nice 2 T trip, wanted to share the scott bath tissue TQ thing,
I was able to print scott TQ coupon now from the page@commonsensewithmoney, I still went to that page and clicked the "striked" line, IT TOOK ME TO THE PAGE where all those four coupons were visible, and i deselected the other three, choose only the scott, was able to print 2 of them, and also printed the MQ to go with it..May be try your luck.
