Dooooo your b(.)(.)bs hang low, do they wobble to and fro...
i just don't have that kind of willpower. i just finished an entire bag of popcorn by myself right after i ate dinner...
I don't even think we have that brand around here, will have to look......anyway......
It sounds like several of us are ready to get back on the bandwagon.
I got the seasoned steak strips and my daughter picked a bag of the fajita chicken but we haven't tried them yet.

or maybe....you should eat morningstar products to get your daily veggies
so who likes lists? i'm already on page 5. will have to do it in parts also.
I said, "Honey, at my age, I am not very worried about whether or not they show. I just hope they are pointing in the same direction."
.
No one in this house understands.
I'm tired. I should sleep, but i'm sitting here wondering what good deals will wander our way next. I am soooo hoping for some decent tq's this weekend.
Some more household and clothing q's would be uber appreciated.
There is a $1/1 Muellers product (pasta) here: http://www.muellerspas
I don't even think we have that brand around here, will have to look......anyway......
There's a thread over there this lady started because she is trying to use 2000 of these
She's 'donating' them
I think a lot of people say they are donating things because it sounds politically correct. But then, again, what else are you going to do with 2000 boxes of pasta, except sell it or give it away?
check this out is it the same poster ? The rolaids are incredible, she pre- orders, hey she's not shelf clearing and those miltary salaries are seriously tough for those with famalies. She resells and I think it's ecessive but she's not wiping everthing out. I think it's kind of over the top, but the way she does it I don't have a problem with but WOW
I am not sure what they would call "reasonable". But I would say the BEST thing to do if you are going to make a LARGE donation with overage goodies - would be to donate them to military familes, troops overseas, etc. 2000 boxes of something would be something I would consider to be large.
We can do special orders (order by the case) - and we do get overage (the commissary sells at cost plus 5% surcharge and is not allowed to make a profit - and so they can't keep any coupon overage for themselves.) So SO and Overage is the best way to get free groceries. (I LOVED the $1.99 Snuggle with the $3 Qs
BUT - then you have to wonder what to do with the stuff. My K-Y I have ordered as a case in point. They know exactly why we are buying the stuff. It gives overage. They don't mind if I buy it and let it sit in my garage. Personally, I think it would be "reasonable" to give it to someone - even non-military that could put it to good use (like Planned Parenthood or something.) I am not sure if they would agree. No one has ever asked - "what do you DO with all that stuff!"
I would NOT sell it. Do NOT ever want to risk losing commissary privileges due to abuse of them!
We do have an Airman's Attic on base - where you can take things - and people below a certain rank can pick out stuff for free.
I imagine those things could be donated to base sponsored food drives and stuff.
I don't imagine they would be concerned about us donating a box of this and a case of that to any community / church / etc. organization.
But I think publicly broadcasting that you are buying 2000 boxes of something at the commissary and giving it away is a tad bit risky.
i know we've been over this b4...but still 150 pounds
i just don't have that kind of willpower. i just finished an entire bag of popcorn by myself right after i ate dinner...
i grew up on muellers elbows. they used to be on sale 3/1 all the time but then san giorgio and then bertolli came on the market and it kind of disappeared.
maybe you should try the disguising method. jerry sienfield's wife wrote a cookbook a few yrs ago for kids where you hide pureed veggies in food of the same color.

Me Please !
Sorry... that's all I got.
I know... I'm no help.
I really should be in bed.

I am not sure if it is the same poster. I haven't found the other thread. Interesting. I would imagine she resells because she bought 180 lysol wipes - and she PAID for those. Granted a VERY reduced price - but they didn't give overage. Reselling things purchased at the commissary is a BIG NO NO.
Actually, we aren't supposed to resell things purchased at the commissary. That is considered "abusing commissary privliges." And - actually - we aren't supposed to GIVE it away to people who do not have commissary privileges either - except for "reasonable" gifts and "reasonable" donations.

I may need to correct myself I read that post a very long time ago and my memory is prbly wrong about the resell , I haven't re-read , just looked it up cause the commisary post stuck in my head .
I would be buying for the overage, and I don't know what I'd do with the excess either. I'd hate to get in trouble, but I'd also hate to have stuff sitting around and going to waste. Of course, I suppose they don't expect most folks to buy like we do, so they probably haven't thought about it much.
i'm sending it out in a few minutes to people i already have emails for. then i need to go try on my n&n pjs i got yesterday and go to sleep a little earlier.
I would have no doubt that many items that people buy for overage end up in some yard sales eventually - through the "what in the heck am I going to do with this stuff now?" frame of mind...
But intentionally ordering things to intentionally resell - gulp......

I remember when I was buying some Schick razors once. The small 67 cent ones - and using $3 qs. (That was before they changed the qs to not allow cash back).
The cashier balked because the difference in value was large. The CS guy came over and said "You have to let her use it. There is nothing we can do to stop them."
I looked at him and said "Oh... and if you COULD do something, what would you do?"
He just looked down and said "nothing..." and acted like he hadn't just said a snarly remark....
But we have a GREAT commissary forum on SD!!!
WITHOUT that support and education - some of the sticklers at the commissary try to make people who are trying to do deals feel like they might lose their precious privileges.
I remember one CS person who told me I was "bordering on coupon fraud." I asked "How so?" She indicated that OTHER stores don't allow overage. She never did quite explain how following DeCa policy was "bordering on coupon fraud" because other stores don't allow overage.
I am so happy for SD for teaching me not to let them bully me like that!

Yep. Most of their shoppers are like any store - they buy what they want and some use coupons. And most of their employees are like any store - some of them give us a hard time about buying overage items in bulk. But luckily, we have an official policy to fall back on that lets us do just that.
