I tried sleeping without Nyquil, but still in the recliner last night. I feel OK and I think I slept OK (when the cat didn't wake me up jumping up on me, but I digress).
.teri. second opinion needed pronto. You are blessed that you have a new gift from God, as your daughter lives thru the breaths of life in the little one. Stress of crisis like this can tear you apart, so find a place to leave your worries (in whatever stronger power you choose to believe in). You know you can come here and share and let it all out. You know your family will be in our prayers.

Our dear neighbor brought us breakfast in bed this morning. Well, not exactly. We were still sleeping when he send his grandson over with breakfast. Our three-dog alarm woke us up when he knocked on the door.
He is a nice neighbor. He cleared our sidewalks of snow a couple days ago.

Does anyone know where the best place to buy k-cups is? I usually get them at tarjay only because I get 10% emp discount + 5% off when using the red card debit card.
(BTW...if anyone doesn't have one of these and shops at target regularly you should get one. It comes out of your checking like a regular debit card but you still get the 5% off!)

Poop story of the day - DS is still working on PT. He had a poop accident in his underwear the other day, so I put him in the tub to clean it up. Last night he had another and didn't want to tell me, so he helpfully jumped in the tub by himself and took his undies off. And then got distracted by the painting potential of it all.
I came upstairs to check on him only to find Picasso-in-poop all over my bathroom wall.

Em is on the phone with the oncology office. We're getting ready for a full next few days. It's like re-living a bad dream, only it's a nightmare now.

And in other news, hubby found out that the person they were going to "let go" in order to give him a raise ... got let go yesterday. So now apparently there is nothing standing in the way except hubby himself. He has a major certification test scheduled for Jan 29. It would help his case tremendously to pass it on that date, but he is doubtful he can do it. I am confident he can do it, but that's just me. With this guy gone, he now gets even more responsibility, on top of the pressure of learning an entirely new field. Its a good thing he has an interest in it, and has a great boss who is more than willing to bring him along and train him, otherwise he'd be sunk.
I now have a total of 10-12 inserts from this week. The papers have not been dumped on their regular schedule since before the holidays started. Kind of a bummer, but I'm thankful that I'm at least getting some.
For Netflix users/viewers, they added a bunch of TLC shows to their instant view.
