What self-righteous B******s. Staying at home w/ my kids has been the most difficult job I've ever had, engineering included. And I often say so. But you know what - I don't like people. I love staying at home. I don't have to deal with people nor office politics. I did try to return to work when my baby got into kindergarten. Didn't work. Since they both have ASDs, I was having to go to the school all the time. AAMOF, I have 1 at home with me today.

OK, you and l2b are totally making me want to at least think some more about it....I have time Wink Biggest thing is we have to start saving this year if we are going to send her to the private school for preschool and then Kindergarten. But heck if we save the money up and don't end up using it for that not a big deal.

That is a stinky story about your son!! We have a significant amount of friends that send their kids to this school, it has separate class for each grade, and several of the teachers there attend our church. The school has a really good reputation. Only bad thing is that currently they only go through 8th grade so then there is the question of what we do after that: regular HS, homeschool, or what. Most of the kids transition to regular high school with no problems and all goes well. I am kind of for that option at this point because I like the idea of her 'entering' the real world while she is still living in my home. But of course that is all like 12 yrs. away laugh out loud

I have this mixed emotion thing going on because on one hand I would love to keep dd home forever LMAO And then on another hand I feel like I want her to have a school experience with her peers and just need to let go of what I want for me Smilie I don't do well in situations where there is no right decision Teehee

ETA: Oh and Ank....I would TOTALLY be sad if my 4-5 mo. old was showing signs of starting to crawl Crying My dd didn't fully crawl until about 7-8 mos. and walk until around 15ish months and I was SO fine with that!!

That should be the subject of that show 'What Would You Do?' and see if people will actually stick up for couponers when managers/cashiers/other shoppers give couponers a hard time. Worst is when other shoppers resort to name calling. Seriously not fun.

Part of me doesn't mind it because at least managers understand the value and that coupons aren't a sign of the devil. I've also found over the last few weeks, I've gotten a LOT more cashiers that are excited over how much I save, rather than being all pissy over the number of Qs I have. Not sure if there's any correlation there.

I've been couponing a little over a year, so maybe I'm late in jumping into it and I'm one of the newbies you guys complain about laugh out loud Well, maybe not. We used coupons a lot growing up, but never to the extent I do it now. But I guess as the economy continues to suck, it's inevitable coupon use goes up too.

shameless beg here, I don't know where else to ask. Anyone in IL northwest suburbs have any extras of the toy story Tag reader? Im desperate to get one, we have one that holds only 5 books and DS has more than 10 books already. DH needs to take out a book or two if DS wants to use the others. Now, his aunt gave him the Tag Map as well. I keep on blaming myself for not getting them when they were around $2+ with coupons last time. I have a princess cozy coupe or the castle tables and chairs I can swap or let me know what you are looking for. Thank you so much.

I had this debt guy call about a hospital bill offering to reduce by 60%. I declined the offer and he said "why don't you go get a job.". Poor guy. I went off on him. He didn't say another word for the entire ten minutes I put him in his place. I hope he calls again.

This reminds me of something i wanted to ask you guys...i got a bill from debt collection agency for $200 for a doctor visit and some test I underwent in Aug 2009..yes Aug 2009...I don't remember if I paid the bill or not but I called the doctor's place and they said "we sent you a bill once but it was returned back because of wrong address" and the address she had on file is the right one Dontknow...What should i do- pay, not pay, call the debt guy and speak to them...

We had just the 3 kids for many years.. I tossed around the idea of having another off and on for 5 years or so.. Wanted a baby but didn't want to get pregnant cause I needed to lose serious weight.. So, yeah, I guess you guys think I am the weirdo.. I have 4 kids, and would have more if I could Smilie I have actually thought about adoption but it is so darn expensive.. Something about the thought of my DD growing up and not having a baby at home anymore makes me so sad.. The thing I remember is that by the time my DD gets to be a teen, or even a preteen, I may very well have grandkids, since my kids are spaced out so much.. so, I will go from mommy to momma, to grandma in the span of a few yearsWink
I, too, at 5 kids would take more. I would love to have twins+ in another 4 years after my IDU and give the rest a head start.

That show is actually asking for ideas to be submitted. If you is a good writer you should send it in. And add a spin off idea to see if the peole in line stick up for the couponer if the person directly behind them gets all nasty.

If it is already in collections, then it is no longer something the Doc can handle but if you are going to pay it, then make a deal, in writing that you will pay in full (or any amount you want 50%) if they agree to remove it from your credit report. I know is that it will stay on your record for 7 years from the last date you had contact with them before you can get it removed EVEN if you pay it, you need to have a contract to remove it. And if they don't agree to that then what is the incentive for you to pay it? They are tarnishing you credit and will continue to if you pay it in full so why be out $200 and STILL have a bad report?
