I feel much better than Sunday. Sunday was terrible, sore throat, chills, TMJ kicking back in. I'm still taking the Zicam, at least thru tomorrow. May venture out some tomorrow and go shopping. Will either have to go early or late, as niece has a ballgame I can watch online.

Where are you from?
Take care TNhughug Hope you recover fast...

not onl is being a sahm a difficult job, it's the most important job a person can do IMO. I remember when mine were born my mother telling me "teri, if you have to work to provide a roof and food, then do so...if you want to work to have a nicer car and better clothes, think twice about whats really important." She told me that no one can love and nuture your children like their own parents, and I took her advice. I stayed home with them until they were older, then I went back to work.
I have always admired homeschoolers. Takes a special person to do it.
A wise lady, your mom Smilie You are a great mom teri...
I have never worked in my life and i want to work when my 2 kids go to school full time.. i am so fed up sometimes that I so desperately wished for a job. i had very hard time after my second one with the post partum dep and i am thankful that i am out of it and still has that unpleasant gut feeling and always worry that i am not taking good care of them Frown

What self-righteous B******s. Staying at home w/ my kids has been the most difficult job I've ever had, engineering included. And I often say so. But you know what - I don't like people. I love staying at home. I don't have to deal with people nor office politics. I did try to return to work when my baby got into kindergarten. Didn't work. Since they both have ASDs, I was having to go to the school all the time. AAMOF, I have 1 at home with me today.

I'm in awe of you all that home school. No way do I have the cajones for that. Y'all rock. Rock
I totally agree. And I KNOW I've said this before over here, but I tell DH all the time... at least he gets an annual review at his job so he knows he's doing a good job. I get to try my hardest, wait 20 years and hope I haven't raised a bunch of asshats.

So we are the "in" crowd now... woot

That would be fun..And maybe try buying 100 of the same item with absolutely legitimate coupons...And the best part would be if they are beepers....That would be a show I would like to watch...
Ahhhh... I would need to stockpile some bandaids from T. Hmmmm...

Quote from tots05 :
shameless beg here, I don't know where else to ask. Anyone in IL northwest suburbs have any extras of the toy story Tag reader? Im desperate to get one, we have one that holds only 5 books and DS has more than 10 books already. DH needs to take out a book or two if DS wants to use the others. Now, his aunt gave him the Tag Map as well. I keep on blaming myself for not getting them when they were around $2+ with coupons last time. I have a princess cozy coupe or the castle tables and chairs I can swap or let me know what you are looking for. Thank you so much.
I looked high and low for one of those as well. I'm SO pissed that I didn't get him a new one with the BF deal. We are in the same boat, we have tons of books and only a 5 book reader.

Quote from kallison423 :
Done Big Grin It would actually be interesting to see if people say anything when the couponer gets called "white trash", "trailer trash", poor, cheap, etc etc. I've been called all those things...at least I wasn't the one paying full price for toothpaste or something ridiculous laugh out loud

Do people really think paying full price=higher class? Not talking about clothing or designer goods, but just regular supermarket stuff?
Ohhhhhhh snap. Getting the shenanigans going up here in Jax. I'm dying to hear if they contact you.

Quote from Dazzledby5 :

Does anyone have opinions on where the best place to recycle your epson cartridges is at? I've done staples - but not office max, office depot, etc...

I never bought the stuff. I use what we have on hand. However, folks did give us some baby wash and some lotion and I've use that. I've heard you really shouldn't use powder because it's bad for baby lungs.

Am I a normal meanie?

Just wonderin'. Big Grin

I was going to go shopping today, but then decided to make a quick little sewing project for DH - a little bag for his magic stuff. I had been having a headache all day and had decided to take something because I couldn't stand it any longer. Dorky me took a motrin pm. My eyes were crossing while trying to sew and after ripping out my 3rd seam I figured I needed to lay down! The bag turned out pretty well in the end. DH is pleased anyways, so I'm happy.

Tomorrow... I definitely plan to shop! I don't have a lot to get, but I have to go to multiple stores and it seems to take ages when you are taking 3 kids along. (so those of you who wrangle and wrestle more than 3 - I totally don't know how you do it!)

Dreeme - been thinking of you a lot lately. I hope all is going well! hug

Okay... I feel like having sauerkraut balls for some reason. Anyone have a good recipe? I don't have a standard - just tend to look one up online.

It's okay , your kids obviously didn't ingest it hug. But I know of the danger , it is real
and unfortunately alot of parents actually have this in the nursery on changing tables in easy reach of babies, one tragedy that can be avoided when you have the info, and really
for something that you can readily do without, the scariest part for me is that nothing can be done if they injest it , I won't have it in the house.

We're not in the market for a Keurig, dh has enough coffee pots as it is. I was just passing along info. Smilie I bought a Tassimo for him a few years ago, he never used it. No use wasting money on yet another coffee pot that he won't use especially when he would rather have more RAM for his computer.
