Should women stay in the kitchen where they belong?

Question
Women - do you cook as well as your mother/mother-in-law ... did they cook as well as their mothers? ...or course not...
Don't take this the wrong way, but I think once women were allowed this whole 'equal rights thing' it signaled the downfall of our civilization. Higher divorce rates, higher teenage pregancies, obesity (since we have to eat out more), the ozone layer (that may be a stretch), etc. Let's get America back on track and the women back into the kitchen where they belong!

However, my husband cannot cook as well as his mom. And she is not a very good cook. So my next project is to teach him to cook.

May I ask if you each hold full-time jobs?
I used to fix dinners every night and often cook lunch for my ex (he'd come home for lunch even though he only got 30 minutes

Yes, I do have a full time job... and I'm pregnant so I get a pass
My husband honestly does not appreciate me cooking for him, though. It's just not a big deal to him - which I think may have something to do with the fact that his mom made him or his dad cook half the time and made baked potatoes or tuna casserole type crap the other half the time. He's strange, says he doesn't enjoy eating. If there was a pill he could take that made him full and he didn't have to waste his time eating, he would. I used to do things like roast a chicken on weeknights with a nice sauce from the drippings... and he gets more excited when I make him mac and cheese with cut up hot dogs in it. That's his favorite meal and the one he's happiest with. It's kind of annoying.
