Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

3? Slacker ;-) I have at least 4 laptops alone (3 and a wireless router and wireless printer go with us on any roadtrips), I lost count of desktops. If I fired them all up at once, the breakers would pop instantly.

I never get rid of old computers, as long as they can at least run Win2K, they're good for printing coupons. Many of my systems dual-boot OSes, a couple triple boot, and I'm working on setting up a whole shelf of triple and quad-boot systems sooner or later. Then again, except for the MacBook Pro (Sobe win), the iPad (McGraw-Hill win), and the netbook (Amex Wishlist 50% off purchase), all of my systems are at least 3 years old, the bulk of them ten years old (yet those Year 2000 systems run XP Pro just great, and Win7 decently with tweaks).

That I understand, but will that thing work for me?

I have all of our bluetooth and wireless usb devices plugged into those of various sizes the short ones are the best just let the usb card hang and they never have the chance of accidentally getting snapped off or bent

I'd be careful with this and make sure that anything remotely heavy is not hanging in the USB port. USB ports are generally held on by really small, weak bits of solder, and if you break it, repairs can get very expensive because you often have to replace the motherboard.

I had a cheap cable break a USB port on my laptop -- luckily, it was covered under the Dell service plan, or it would have been more than a few hundred dollars to repair.

Actually....look around....people on this forum are always so nice to me, I never had a chance to post this before and it's one of my all time favorite .gifs.
