Hi all,
I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.
Everyone is welcome!
I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.
This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.
So, I hope it catches on !

Weekly Marlboro Snus Challenge NEW INFO
I called Marlboro (1/19) and this is what a Rep told me:
The sign-up period will begin 1/26 until 2/14. The game will last 8 weeks, which should be until 4/10/2011.
It will not be groups or teams, but invididuals. You will answer 5 questions each week, which will earn you 2 entries into the Sweeps. Winners will be picked randomly/weekly (not sure how many each week, depends on the prizes, which you can see weekly).
Grand Prize will be a trip to The Marlboro Ranch.
Forgot to also say that they WILL tell you the answers after you submit your choice. Unlike their last promotion. It's not known yet if you will earn points towards gear as well.
One of the problems with iTunes/Quicktime/etc is that there are often several processes and services running all the time, and if an install/uninstall screwed up and didn't shut them down at the right point, it can leave files and Registry entries behind. Unfortunately it can be a serious mess to clean up, as you've found.
But if you can post the entire error messages, I can look around. I can also install iTunes on one of my XP systems so I can see what Registry folders you might need to delete, if it comes to that.
If you can get it to the point that the uninstall is complete, you might want to create a Restore Point before installing iTunes, so you can revert if it blows up again.
