Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

The space should not matter to iTunes, as it is new enough to handle it, but you could try forcing it to install to "Program_Files" instead. Older programs couldn't handle the space in the pathname (and MS was an idiot for using it back when it was an issue), and some even didn't do a good job of checking Windows short pathname version (usually PROGRA~1 for "Program Files") to get it properly installed.

If the latest version of iTunes is still giving that error on Install, you probably will either have to muck around in the Registry (not for the uninformed), or try the trial of Revo to see if it clears out the remnants of the old one that are still screwing things up.

I wouldn't count on getting them. That offer is weeks old, and even when I enter the RightAtHome ones within an hour of release, I don't get them. Out of probably a dozen offers, I've gotten one.

I wasn't talking about the space, I was talking about the C:\ part. I think it may be calling the P in program files an invalid character as it is looking for C or D or a valid drive letter.

Don't quote me on this but......

When I went to the local snus event, I joked with one of the guys working it about getting me to the ranch. He said he had no control over it, but said be on the look out for a contest at the beginning of the year. I am guessing this contest may have a tie in to the ranch, but it is a guess at best.
