Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Congrats -- I haven't heard of many people getting the CR-48 that aren't members of the media. Did yours come with all of the cool new stickers? I would love to try that laptop out, but I highly doubt I will see one since so many people applied for it.

Yeah, it has all the stickers, although I had no idea what they were for at first, lol. I am not a techie kind of person at all, but I'm excited to try it out. I never get that lucky on that kind of stuff some I'm super excited.

The stickers are to personalize the laptop, but they're also a jab at every other laptop manufacturer -- any new computer ships with a bunch of pointless decals on it. The next time I buy a computer, I would gladly pay a little extra money to not have to deal with taking decals off -- I hate those things.

I applied for the Google Chrome netbook about a month ago too but it has thus far not made an appearance. It would be a real hoot to get two in one week!

When I called for mine they were relunctant to give it to me. Kept saying they would give it to a glasses place only, But after I told them I'm getting them on line and just need the numbers they finally gave them to me, After I had to listen to their speech about how stupid I was for getting glasses on line and not from them, (At a 250% mark-up)
