Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

So, I hope it catches on !

So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

My twins are my first & only kids. I still remember when they were little like your grand-twins....a lot of work, but yes, it does get easier.
For me, the biggest milestones were no more bottles & no more diapers. Sooooo much easier after those!
I've always considered it wonderful...love being a mom of twins....it's a double blessing. nodnod
Thanks! Bottles and diapers suck! Breast feed all 4 of mine, tried to encourage my daughter, but, even a nursing fanatic like me saw that it was overwhelming for her! Did yours do milestones together like crawling, etc

I can't speak for mlx, but my twins are. One started walking and 2 days later the other did too, same thing with talking, rolling over, etc.

Question for you since your girls are older....Is thier some special "twin potty training" thing I should know about when I try to potty train my twins? Would a competition type thing work, I wonder.
My girls kinda' made it into a competition all by themselves. There was no way one was going to get all the praise & the other one be left out. So, when one would use the potty, the other one would too. Worked really well.

It's funny, because they aren't really all that competitive overall. They both just kind of go with the flow.....they're "artistic types", quite talented, and getting better all the time.

They were probably sugar beets. Any spuds on the road are considered good road kill, Already mashed and ready to eat. lol

Yeah, I have noticed that a bit with my twins, one can't let the other get too far ahead. lol. I hope it encourages them to learn quickly. I am kind of dreading the potty-training.

They hit the milestones pretty close together. One walked a week or two before the other...she was the one who concentrated on large motor skills first it seems. While her sister worked on the small motor skills (she could pick a shipping label off a box all in one piece!).
Then, it seemed like they "traded information" so picking up the skills the other had already mastered came easier. Really cool partnership if you ask me! nod

Just put em on a leash out back every 2 hours. That's how my Rudy learned

OMG, twins rock! My kid had those weird ones, where one sucks all the nutrients and sometimes the weak one doesn't make it! Glad to report they both made it!!! to the tune of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ The little one is just a little behind, but he's holding his own! They were only 2 lbs apart at birth, i guess that's good, for that type of preg! Wish i knew how to download pics, guess that's upload, im a computer moran. So good to hear from you twin moms, my kid has really been struggling!!

One thing I noticed with my girls....they didn't like using the "potty seat" when it sat on the floor next to the "big girl toilet". I took the seat off, put it on the regular toilet, and put a footstool in there....they climbed right up and used it then.
