Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

So, I hope it catches on !

So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

I postedthis one earlier [microcenter.com], but it's not that hot of a deal if a Micro Center isn't local for you to get free in store pick-up. Still, there are frequently rebates or sales that bring a 2GB stick to around $20. The one in my link came out to $19 and change for me with tax, after I get the rebate back.
Ok, cool thanks! Is that a good brand...never heard of it before? Or does it really even matter for something like this?

Already probably going to take a loss on the 2gb ddr2 I bought so trying to make sure I get a good, that will work this time lol.

What you need to convince her of is how much she will help everyone else on the road by taking him to court. It's obvious the jerk hasn't learned his lesson yet about DUI, he needs serious jail time (then again, it's the court systems fault for not giving it to him yet) to get it to sink in.

When I was a teen and prone to crazy driving, I got a bunch of speeding tickets. It always amazed me how harsh the judges were on me and others for simple speeding, while there were people in there for their fourth DUI that had never even served a day in jail. I thought the courts had gotten harsher on DUI since then, but obviously not. As long as you can pay a lawyer, it seems you can get away with some serious BS without consequences.

I know there's probably some difference if you're doing some really intensive graphics or gaming stuff, but I've never had problem buying the cheapest RAM I could find. To me, it's pretty much all the same, as long as it works.

You should be able to get at least some of your money back on the ddr2 by selling on craigslist, especially since it's unopened.

I feel like I'm taking a risk buying the DDR3, but I guess I can return it if I don't see my netbook in the next 30 days.

I had a drunk crash into me at 8:30 in the morning . he was .20 basically got a slap on the wrist he had no license or insurance or job. was a professional drunk. When my husband saw my car he said there was no way I got my self out of that car. I thought it was going to go up in flames and got myself out. He had to pay my deductible for my car and that was it. Had many doctor bills and am still not comfortable in a car. Can not tell you how much pain he put me though. Something needs to be done, I see so many people who have had DWIs and have no clue. they think it is funny.

hey Gary: another update on daughters accident. The guy in contracted out for the same company her husband works for and he was telling one of the guys there that he was so wasted he new he hit something but didn't know what. He woke up in the morning sore and his truck had damage. So he didn't even know he hit her.

Talk to your son in law and tell him to make her go see a lawyer
she won't have to go to court to collect, very rarely does that ever happen
tell him she has to protect her children what if she develops permanent injuries and needs care for the rest of her life
tell her to do it for you
tell her he could come after her even though he was at fault it won't stop him from trying to collect from her insurance company, it happens all the time
she has to file 1st so he wont
tell her she has to protect her families assets and future income

Gary I try to tell her. she doesn't want to do the court thing. she wont listen to me. Her Hubby just wont even imagine the girls may have been in the back seat. He just blocks it out. She said he Can't even think about that happening to his girls. So he won't even mention it or talk about it. He loves his daughters so much, so he won't even talk about what might have.

She doesnt have to go to court. If she turns it over to her insurance company they will do it all for her! All she has to do is make sure her bills and the value of the car is what she wants to recieve the check for. Tell her not to take the first amount. She needs to state with athority that she wants more and they will get it for her!!

the two car seats her hubby argued with them about paying for new ones, cuz once car seats are in a accident you cant use them again. they were both smashed into the front seats of the car.
