Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

So, I hope it catches on !

So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

The only thing I've seen on a vehicle closest to an outlet is a headbolt heater cord that you plug to an extension cord! Too wierd! How about suggesting to her to put a tarp or something over the windshield and to keep it in place, close it in the front doors of the car. That should help a bunch. Maybe do same for rear window. Metal spatulas work great as scrapers, too. Do you folks have headbolt heaters and studded tires?
Studded tires are ilegal here!!! Theres not enough snow to keep them from tearing up the roads. A guy down the road put an electric blanket on his windsheild last snow and it caught fire!!! Spatulas do work good. Heavy duty BBQ ones are the best.

Didn't you say your sister has one of the 12V plugs in her car? That's where the electric ice scraper would plug in. Looks just like a cigarette lighter, but no actual lighter, just the "plug in" hole.
Nothing like that anywhere. Just a 2 prong electric outlet! We dont know if it was special ordered that way or not. No ash trays either.

I just let the car warm up for 15 to 20 min. then everything just melts off. I live in a area that we feel safe leaving a car run unattended. I run through the gas pretty fastCrying2

Alaska - check your PM, the steps I put in there should hopefully finish out the iTunes saga with your desktop PC (note - you can Registry backup the netbook before iTunes install if you want, or just create a Restore Point. Probably should be a trouble-free install, though).

I just received my camera Canon SX130IS. here is the bad news. http://www.infosyncworld.com/reviews/digital-cameras/canon-powershot-sx130-is/11371.html
If I want to keep it (which I do), It seems I'll have to spring for the $35.00 accessory kit which includes 3 sets of rechargable AA batteries case and charger.. Seems that all those bells and whistles have a price in terms of max 1/2 hr of use time per session. Not good for general tourist use or sporting events unless you have stock in Energizer.
Forget the acc kit, just watch/search the Hot Deals forums for AAA NiMH batteries/chargers. They're generally $1/ea or less in quantity for decent quality ones, and chargers are anywhere from $5-50, depending on the bells and whistles.

If you have a Sams or Costco nearby, they have the eneLoop rechargables and charger, a pretty good sized set, for about $20-25.

If you go with cheaper ones, you can probably spend less than $20 for a charger and 8-10 AAs.
