Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

Camera SX130 arrived. Plus 4GB Class 6 memory card.
Not to PO Box as I expected. Arrived at home with a UPS label over the PO Box label. Signature required.
Guess UPS and USPS working close together, since they got my address.
Two pics attached:
One is Idaho Capital Building
Next is Lewis & Clark with the Nez Perce Chief statues. (seemed appropriate)

Hi back! Very nice pics!! All the pictures I've seen people post that were taken with the SX130 are really good...clear & crisp. Did you get the 3rd pic resized so you can post it?

Na, it was a lower view that showed the plaque on the statues pic. But its still really hard to read, so its not worth the bother. Too many shadows in the raised type.

I did those in auto mode. Haven't made time yet to learn the tricks. Been busy getting ready for my CA trip next week. Sorry for the lag.

Bay Area, my former stomping grounds. With a side trip to South Lake Tahoe for a few days for the return trip.

Speaking of weather. Notice all the snow we have in Southern Idaho. Since I'm driving to CA, I've been watching out for storms that could alter my plans. So far, looks good. Especially glad I'm not out east right now.

Thanks. I'm taking a rental with unlimited miles. If the weather were bad, I'd take my 4x Pathfinder instead. Rather drive snow in something familiar.
