Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

no my old vcr he got the dvd to work though but i have hundred of videos so really would like the vcr. maybe if i get a vcr dvd combo that would work.

Like I said earlier when I called Monday they told me the netbooks were out of stock but the get shipments regularly. I would guess thats why all of a sudden a bunch of people will get their e-mail notices when each shipment comes in.

Netbook has arrived in Oregon! For those of you trying to figure out when yours might arrive. I ordered right after the "real" final points were awarded. I was not one who initially ordered a bike or camera and then asked to change the order. I received the shipping message on Monday Jan. 24. Delivered by UPS today. Looks like fun, if only I can pry it out of my 12 year old's hands!

You are correct. I was one of the lucky ones that got it last week. Have not used it all that much yet. But I DID get it. Thanks again to OWTW SDers again.

so it took the full 10 days for you then. i know when they send the e-mail on anything they say 7 to 10 days.

Thats ok,,,VCR's are out of date,,,,have about 400 tapes and had a garage sale and couldn't get rid of them for a dime each

It's so frustrating because there are so many little things that you need to do to get some of these things to work. If I remember correctly, I had a little button on my VCR that I had to hit, something like TV/VCR to toggle it to the VCR to watch the movies.
I had a problem with my DVD player about a month ago. One day it worked, the next day it wouldn't. So after checking every connection and pushing every button, etc. as a last resort, I switched HDMI cables from another player and ta-da, the cable had gone bad. Only wasted about a half hour trying to figure that one out Head Bang
