Hi all,
I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.
Everyone is welcome!
I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.
This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.
So, I hope it catches on !

This one should work, but since it's missing half the frames, it's not quite the same as the original.
FYI - they merged my previous new post with a somewhat unfriendly oldtimer's and probably moved my reps. What can ya do. Title on previous one is still incorrect. Maybe we'll find a new site where they are more friendly?
click Start / click Control Panel
under Hardware and Sound, click View Devices and Printers
right-click the top one that has the picture of your netbook, select 4th option - "Mouse Settings"
A window pops up - select the far right tab that says "ELAN". Half way down is an option that says "Disable when external USB pointing device plug in"
I'm not sure why this wasn't a default setting, but this is the way to do it. I've heard several people who aren't fond of the built in mouse panel. This will turn it off if it detects that you have a USB mouse plugged in.
I'll post this over in the Snus forum, too... maybe I'll get some reps

Figured they would merge the threads. But, don't think they can't move your reps....once you've earned them, they're yours!
How do you know the oldtimer original poster is unfriendly? Did they say something to you??? Better not have....that would be uncalled for! I was thinking of replying to the original post & suggesting the title be changed....but if they're a poop, don't think I'll bother.
I'll just keep posting sweeps....that'll piss of the grumpy oldtimers but good! LOL! There have been quite a few people who repped my sweeps posts that have said they like that I post something different.

While I had them on the phone I asked for the tracking number on the netbook. Seems it was supposed to be delivered yesterday but there was a note "Emergency conditions beyond UPS' control" whatever that means. It's also listed as supposed to be delivered today, so I'll see what happens. I don't know what the "emergency conditions" yesterday was so who knows?

Don't let the cranky oldtimers keep you from finding & posting more sweeps! Personally, bad attitudes like that just spur me on to post more! LOL! We'll just take over that forum whether they like it or not!!!!!
