Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

Wow, I have only won 3, but got all 3 coupons today!!
Throw a few bags in the box for the food pantry when you get them at the grocery store! I am sure others would be happy to get some!

I'm the one with 2 sewing machines, but she wouldn't wear something like that lining or not ;-)

I had some old Ts falling apart that I cut the important stuff out of, I may do that with some of these, store them for some future quilt or something.

I've been putting my hand in a slide style zip lock and putting a rubber band around my wrist. But, after today, they told me I can get it wet in the shower and to wash it once a day with soap and water. Guess I got the water proof stitches.
I'll probably end up removing the stitches myself. I've removed them from my chest before and I could hardly see them. Had to do it in the mirror. They were well crusted over too. hehe These should be easy!
And it sure does seem to be healing quickly, Gary! Except the part on the side they couldn't stitch. It's still weeping. I'm already using my right hand to type, and using my trackball with my thumb! Kinda hard with the bandage, but it's working OK!

I was amazed! They injected the numbing stuff in the base of my thumb. First time I ever had stitches and didn't get the needle directly in the wound! And, they numbed it before they cleaned it! The worst part so far (other than the actual saw blade in the thumb) was when the nurse cleaned it today! Pain has been quite manageable so far. A lot less painful than I thought I was in for!
