Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

So, I hope it catches on !

So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

For those that didnt get Strudel, please accept my apoligies on his behalf. heartheartheart

Can anyone help me to locate my auto spell-check on my new OWTW4 (nicknamed Outwit) netbook? I use Firefox, if that matters. TIA!

Its amazing what we take for granted until we have to start from scratch. I got the netbook for my sister but Im the one who will have to set it up. I will have to find the apps for what she will use it for but let me know about that spell-check because she will definitely need it since its for her business!!!

I need some advice and everyone here is really good whith different kinds of stuff. I have a Lexmark 2600 printer (Walmart special) I never would have bought it if I had known how difficult it would be! It prints and scans just fine as long as I wipe the cat hair off from time to time but now that I have a good camera it doesnt do photos very well.
I either want to print my own or have them done at walgreens or Walmart. Printing at home would be so much more convenient but Im not sure of the price. I would only be doing about 10 - 20 prints a month. I need something that I can refill the ink in the cartridges instead of buying new ones each time. Im leaning towards getting something that just prints pictures but Im not too knowledgeable about whats availible or what is the best and cheapest way to go. Any advice would be appreciated!!
Stupid spellcheck will only tell me I spell it wrong but not what its supossed to be!!!

Other than the calendar shelf with the diffrent DBs for each month, no. I made myself stay away from the Danbury DBs. I like the pink dot set from the 80s and store displays the best. Oh yeah, the tshirts too. Whats your favorite DB stuff?

I was amazed! They injected the numbing stuff in the base of my thumb. First time I ever had stitches and didn't get the needle directly in the wound! And, they numbed it before they cleaned it! The worst part so far (other than the actual saw blade in the thumb) was when the nurse cleaned it today! Pain has been quite manageable so far. A lot less painful than I thought I was in for!
I bet that was a little tricky to stitch! When I cut my finger, they had me wear one of those 'broken finger' braces for about a week or longer. With the bandaging on top of that, made it hard to do anything at all. Middle finger did most of the work and to this day, it still wants to. Lost the feeling in the tip of my finger - it happened in 2005.

I have a ton of other stuff that isn't from Danbury.
My favorite is probably the gum ball machine, curtain's,light strand and a 3ft stuffed doll. My mom bought me some kind of snuggie thing this year from Kohl's.It has"That's how I roll" lol Smilie

Just thought some of us would want to know--this is from the contest before last.

Today from Marlboro:

Thank you for your participation in the Marlboro Country Rewards promotion.
This promotion was very popular and orders for the Resistol Ranch boots by Lucchese exceeded our expectations. Because of this unanticipated demand it will take longer to ship your item than we originally projected. Lucchese is working to get your boots to you as soon as possible; however, due to the hand made nature of the boots, they may not ship until April 20, 2011.
We apologize for the delay and appreciate your patience. Please accept the enclosed ashtray for any inconvenience this delay may have caused. Thanks again for your continued interest and participation in our promotions.
If you have any questions, please call us at.................... etc
I got one of those too - day before yesterday, I think. Came UPS. Still haven't gotten bonus gift (email said 7-10 days on 2/4). It probably went to join the rest of those 'missing' trays or tops! Guess I still have a couple days left to wonder...

OMG, Im drooling on the Kohls item. We are far from any Kohls and Ive never been to one. My proudest DB possessions are probably the walkman, the little Poppie doll (stuffed) and the (4ft I think) full deminsional styrofoam DB that was displayed in stores probably 10 years ago. I got the little version (probably 18") from Sue Siebels online DB store a year or 3 ago. He's pretty sweet! Last year the grocery mgr at my favorite store got me 2 2'x3' DB christmas foam core backed wall art (picture). One is PF on a glass Christmas ball, the other on a candy cane...they are huge! Ive stayed away from ebay for years as its too hard to not buy.
