Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

So, I hope it catches on !

So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

[QUOTE=julesp29;37286801]yah but I forgot to put in a fourth of a bar of parifin wax with the chocolate chips when melting.

I am definitely going to try it in cups, according to your method, but I'm going to stick with the ingredients I use. Try the Wilco chocolate sometime. It comes in light and dark chocolate. I once used the semi-sweet morsels that I use for choc chip cookies, but I didn't like it; the milk chocolate morsels would probably work, too.

Yeah, Angiex57 pointed out that it had indeed been posted on SD already. Oh well, as long as it's posted so folks have a chance to get in on the contest, it's all good.
I got home late tonight, and am having a hard time catching up on the posts, I need to learn to catch up before posting nod

Get an Eastwing, they are the best. Hope I spelled that right. Just don't go to the hardware store and ask for an East Wing, it is pronounced estwing. LOL Eastwing straight claw, best hammer I ever owned.
Hey, thanks for that!! Got the 'broken' one while I was going to college. Student budget doesn't allow for fancy stuff. Maybe now I can get one a bit nicer.

Oh, finally got a wireless router today and hooked it up to my PC, then connected my little baby to it. Had a mouse picked out then saw this carrying case with the cutest little mouse you'd ever seen attached to it, so I got the combo instead. Got Microsoft Office installed and I'm almost set to go. Need the 2GB which I'll try to get at Best Buy since I have a $25 gift card.

I'm having fun now!!

Thanks to mlx and mvario for router info. Mouse was recognized right away, and if I have problems with touch pad while mouse is attached, I will follow Syngal's instructions to disconnect it Smilie Me happy!

Even my husband was impressed with my accomplishments!! He didn't think I'd even use the netbook.

I missed out on the mascara giveaway today too. Forgot all about it, and was at the grocery store getting stuff for dinner when it was going on.

LOL what happened is she was little and sitting outside with a neighbor girl. My boyfriend was listening to them talk and the other girl said "I ain't your friend" and she said what you ate my friend? and she walked away and my daughter kept following her down the sidewalk saying " you ate my friend, you ate my friend?" Vern said he was laughing so hard listening to these to little girls conversation.

I was the desigated boy in my family of 4 girls. I was doing wall fishes and crawl space wiring from the age of 4. My dad was an electrician. I LOVE TOOLS. And unlike most of the men I know, I know how to use them. But I have used a Snap-On screwdriver as a prybar before. Good thing they are guaranteed for life!!!

wootwootCongratulations on your wireless hookup. It really is fun setting up the netbook. I felt really good after I connected it to my wireless printer. I had to download the software from the HP site because I couldn't use the CD that came with the printer, but I felt great when I actually printed something from upstairs to the downstairs printer. Today, I've been working to be able to download pictures from my camera but again I had to go to the Canon site for the software. As soon as I leave here I'm going to fiddle with it some more. Again, congratulations.woot

Got a new case for my baby netbook tonight and it came with a compact optical mouse with retractable usb cord. So cool and here I wasted money on a regular mouse for it.
Hey, I just purchased one like that - by Targus. Pretty nifty!!
