February 26, 2011, 3:13 am: System Notice: This thread content has been automatically archived from another thread which reached post limit, and will be preserved for reference and archival purposes. The discussion should continue in the original thread

Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

So, I hope it catches on !

So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

You're good with contests, I want to make sure I did this right. To get this do I hit repl to at the bottom of the page and enter my info??? I thought they would have a link to click on and a form to fill out. Also with the netbooks, is it all ready for the internet or do we need the wireless adapter???
This is in the email
To claim your prize, please respond to this email with your name, address, city, state, zip and telephone number by 5:00 p.m. PT on February 20, 2011 so that we may send you your prize.
Yeah, sounds to me like just email is fine (that's how I dealt with the iPad). Just reply to their email, leave lots of clear space around your info so they can't confuse it with anything else.

The netbook should have wireless built it, the nano receiver I listed was more for desktop systems (I think it was maybe jmeredith that was looking for one a week or 2 ago).

where is bing bar

roboform remembered log in and passwords too
Here is a link Gary www.microsoft.com/toolbar You can also get points for searching with Bing and redeem for prizes.
You can turn your toolbars on or off in the view menu at the very top of
your PC screen "menu bar" you probably already know that though. Smilie It is a simple button on the bar that says Autofill. You only fill it out once and it should fill everything in.

roboform says I used up my limit for free form filling
don't want to give them $29

what was the link to your macro?
is it free, paying defeats the purpose
It is iMacro, search for it within Firefox. I've used it a ton, and had no prompts, AFAIK it is free for the basic version. I think they have a paid pro version, but it has way more than what is needed for form filling.

It's record and play, handy for multiple entry contests.

For form filling - http://autofillforms.mozdev.org/d.../main-page is the one I am using for "single shot" entries.

But if you hit an Enter Once page, is there a quick way just to auto-fill quickly & forget it? Never mind, you answered before I asked! Thanks!

mlx3 and talonts: what do you use in FireFox for a simple form filler? I thought there was a toolbar button that will fill out info for any site you visit.
I've been using Google Chrome more than Firefox lately.
But, when I do use Firefox, I use this add-on to fill out forms:

Yes, it has a button with a dropdown to change entries. You can program multiple identities (I have one specifically set up for all Hearst Magazine entries).

And THAT is why I post the rules to my sweeps postings. When I won the iPad, I went to look up the rules, and Wildfire had already removed them. I had no reference.

They probably have no problem using email since the value is below the 1099 trigger (which is why I wish Apple would drop the MSRP of the 32Gig iPad from $629 to $599...for future wins. I won a 16G, only $499, so well under. We're reporting it anyways, doesn't affect our taxes.)
