Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

I ended up calling tech support in the middle of installation disk cuz they wanted a password and a number from my isp and they don't use either of those so wouln't let me continue, so call buffalo tech support and he talked me through everything right up to getting on the internet.

Yes, I got in on that deal before it ended. Mine is scheduled for tomorrow, too.

I did their vinyl LP USB player/converter deal today, too. I have a TON of old vinyl albums that I want to convert to MP3. Their shipping is a bit silly - thought I could toss in some earrings for the same shipping, but that wanted another $5 to throw the tiny things in the package! Skipped that!

I hope I remembered to rep you. Will go look for "outside" post now

Has anyone had trouble uninstalling the Norton Online Backup it won't uninstall for me the Norton Security uninstalled just fine.

From what I've read on here, there are still a number of people waiting on their netbooks.
Seems like a batch goes out, then they are on backorder for another couple of weeks, then they ship a batch again.
Based on this pattern, a new batch should be shipping soon. Hope this helps!

ever since i got the netbook going tonight it has done nothing but do scans and upgrades, it updated windows then updated samsung i just downloaded security essentials now its doing a scan, 50% of battery gone on all that stuff.
