Another thing I can't ever keep very fresh is a nice bunch or parsley or cilantro. For this (if you have room in your fridge, which I rarely do), you can take a small glass and put some water in it, place the herbs in that and then cover the top with a ziploc bag (gallon). Just don't knock it over like I have because it is kinda top heavy. I have kept parsley beautiful for over a week this way.
