Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

So, I hope it catches on !

So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

I just won a $25 Tim Card from Tim Horton's. Never heard of Tim, but I guess I can use it to buy coffee on-line!

congrats! I looked at the map of winners earlier, and it looked like all the winners were in Canada or Northeast States (NY, etc).

Thanks! Are there Tim Horton's in Colorado? I could mail it to one of my sisters. There may be some in Seattle or Olympia. I'll have to check it out. The closest Office Depot to me is Olympia, and I still have my $30 Gift Card from that great giveaway back in the OWTW days!

Wait a minute! It looks like this company also owns Cold Stone Creamery Ice Cream stores. Maybe you can ask them if you can use your gift card for ice cream! Wave

Congrats on receiving your netbook. Thanks for reply. So as it stands now, I will be the last on slick deals? I am so happy to receive such a great gift free. If it wasn't for Marlboro I wouldn't win anything lol laugh out loud .Good things are worth waiting for bounce. Was going 64 bit an option during set up? I was wanting to go with Linux but I have decided to give it to my girlfriend (I hog the desktop with school work anyway) and I don't think she would be too happy if I put Linux on it. My old home router is a 2.4ghz also, so I have to buy a 5ghz for the net book to operate? When you said ram upgrade installed , you meant by you, correct? I have the memory coming from Newegg. I am in southern Oregon, so maybe it will arrive tomorrow.
Link to samsung drivers update (provided by another slick dealer earlier post) cool Coolthat the sdhc card will work for ready boost.

http://www.samsung.com/us/support...145-JP02US
I decided to not use the Windows 7 Starter version and install Windows Pro 64bit. This is not a provided option from Samsung.

You don't need 5GHz unless you have set up your wireless specifically this way for "n". I have two wireless networks (on the same access point) and I allow "n" connections only on the 5GHz band. I could change this but I like it like this so I will use the Samsung on the "g" 2.4GHz network.

Before I even started it up for the first time I installed the RAM, took about 45 seconds.

Yes, that link will take you to all the WinXP and Win 7 (32bit only) drivers you might need, no 64bit drivers.

I bet since you are farther from Memphis than I you will get your Netbook today or tomorrow.

Good luck!
