Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

So, I hope it catches on !

So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

Oh this is just RIDICULOUS - I just fired up the MtDew game after about 24 hours, and won another Bball hoop on my first round.

I'm turning it down again. Sooner or later, I've got to win something else, and even if not, the hoop is useless to me.

Found something great for those of you wanting to diet and wanted to share it with all of you SDer's. This isn't for those with under 10 lbs to loose. I am doing this diet now and did it once before but then became unemployed and put the weight back on sitting around. I also know at least 2 dozen people who have done it over the last year and a half with great results.

The diet is called HCG. It's some hormone in pregnant women's urine, yes urine that allows you to injest minimum calories and instead of your body going to starvation mode the natural chemical goes to your hypothalamus and tells it you aren't starving so release stored fat in your specific body's area which differ by person. I didn't see it but am told this diet was featured on Dr. Oz a few weeks back as well.

It used to be only by injection daily but the two times I have done it (doing it now, day 8) has been orally. Two sprays under the tongue morning and night. The first two days you eat normal and use the spray. The third day you start 500 calories a day. BEFORE YOU PANIC, I know, that isn't much and every person I have told about this diet says they can't do it but you can. The drug also tells your body you are not hungry and you aren't. You eat two meals a day of 3 oz of meat and 6 oz of vegs plus 2 melba toast crackers each meal. Twice a day you eat a fruit.

It isn't easy for me after about 2 weeks. I can usually hang for two. I am not hungry at all but I do LOVE pizza and you still think about food and i guess willpower brain over temptation which will win but as far as hunger pains or weakness you have none.

The reason is you body releases fat stored packs from your body's specific areas and uses it for fuel. This part is very cool as you should loose about a pound a day after the first two days so you see a difference on the scale immediately and in your clothes within a week. Since it attacks the fat stored packs you loose it where you body needs to, not where you don't want to. Great jump start program for bathing suit weather too as it gets rid of the cellulite.

I do cheat on the plan. I only eat one meal a day at lunch. By dinner, not hungry and too busy that I forget. I do find I can eat a small stack of fat free Pringles potato chips each night and not be a problem which is cool because it is the crunchy taste and carbs. If anyone decides to do it, you can PM me and I can give you more information. I am lazy cooking so I just buy the precooked presliced chicken in the 6 oz packs or the frozen shrimp and throw it in a pan with some soy and herbs etc and put on top of a salad. I do use a little sugar free balsomic dressing too.

NO, I don't own stock or an interest in the company or the diet just know it works and especially for women---we get so down about our weight and this is something that is short time and works. In 2 weeks you can loose about 16 lbs and you don't put it back on unless you eat like a fool so that is great. Anyway, the cost is $85 as of this posting and web I buy from is bodysolutionsrx.com . Happy dieting for those of you interested. Just wanted to share.

All this without exercise which you should get anyway

This is a very dangerous way to lose weight, Hgc increases the rate of cancer growth. plus people with diabetes or thyroid problems have an increases risk of developing problems. My brother looked into it. It does help you lose weight but at the risk of permanant injury and possible death. He decided to eat healthy and get out and be more active and it worked

I looked into it a year and half ago when I did it the first time and you are right, true HCG can cause that if used for prolonged periods. This is a synthethic version that was on Dr. Oz. Of course, no diet can be done for prolonged periods to but each their own. I posted it here because I have know almost 50 people, including myself who have done it for a month or so (though this time I am sticking to 2 weeks) and have had a positive experience and its a great way to jump start a diet to see results which helps you continue on the diet if needed.
