Met a smoking, hot girl

I met a girl this weekend who is dangerously hot, intelligent and just plain fun. The only problem is that she smokes... now I've always said that smoking is an instant turn-off, but I obviously lied to myself, because I'm ridiculously attracted to her.

I've also said I wouldn't want to date a smoker, because they always seem to fall back on cigerettes when they get stressed, and I hate how my clothes end up smelling. Needless to say, I'm considering dating her.

The ironic part is that she's a marathon runner- laugh out loud I guess I'd rather have a smoking, hot marathon runner than a non-smoking, out-of-shape girl.

Thoughts? Am I being stupid?

Personally, I think it's silly to consider not dating someone based on one single flaw. And this is coming from a non-smoker who also personally prefers to date non-smokers. Basically, if the taste is not a turn off (that's always what gets me) and if she's your type in every other way I say go for it. Its worth a shot, right?

If she runs marathons she probably knows she shouldn't be smoking.
If she is cool enough to get along well with you she probably knows she shouldn't be smoking. If she as young as you indicate she will probably not smoke for rest of her life.
Thats what I think anyway....perhaps you are the incentive for her to stop smoking?

If she is a marathon runner, there is no way she is a regular smoker. There are plenty of people I know who only smoke when they go out to have fun and drink but don't need them rest of the days.

I'm sure it's been mentioned... but some people really only smoke when they drink... I wouldn't completely rule it out
