OCD Me!

Time to 'fess up...

We all have strange habits/superstitions/compulsions. Give it up--let's hear yours.

Here are a couple of mine. I have a strange distaste for odd numbers. If I can control something and I have a choice between even or odd--for example, my home theater receiver volume displays in digits--I will always choose an even number.

I also "write" phrases with my finger on any surface (the arm of my chair, the car door, my thigh) that I hear on the television, radio, etc. I alternate between cursive and print, and sometimes I try to keep up with whomever I'm copying. For example, if the news is on and the anchor says "a shocking double murder in the District this evening," I will be scribbling this phrase on the couch cushion to my right.

I've also practiced wiping my butt with my left hand in case my right hand gets cut off or mangled in some horrible accident.

I do that with M&Ms too but it's b/c of the color I like instead of the taste I like laugh out loud I don't like the brown ones as much b/c I think they taste more like food coloring laugh out loud

Ooooooh... Here's a weird one....

If my pen has writing on it, the cap must be turned so that the clip (if it has one) is aligned with the writing. Dontknow I sometimes can't read the writing that way, but it's how I've always done it. I guess High-lighters are better b/c the clip doesn't come down past the cap and you can still read the logo. LMAO

I'm all over the even numbers. That's a long list... stairs, things I eat, volume settings (any display settings really)...
