Kiz, Good to hear from you. I stop by every now and then. Started some house cleaning--way overdue. Plus, I've been reading a lot. Right now on The Girl Who Played with Fire. And the contests take a lot of time. Hope you are well and happy.

So happy you're here SBL...we missed you!heart

Wilson is so sweet and wonderful! He's calm and well behaved and is quite the kisser! The only problem he has, is some very bad itching, which doesn't seem to be from fleas. Several people have told us that Labradors in particular can be allergic to corn, which is in most dog food. So we switched to a different food, and I think he is getting better already. That might explain why he laid down in a mud puddle on his first walk in the yard. I don't think it was his first attempt at swimming!

We are having some serious Rain

There are three books in this trilogy. The author died after he turned these over for publication. Start with the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I'm really enjoying the second one: the Girl who Played with Fire. As soon as I'm finished, I'll go to the library for the third one. These are mystery-type books. I know the Tattoo one is a movie. I'm going to see if I can rent it this weekend. I like seeing the movie after reading the book; otherwise, I am totally lost, and this author uses a lot of characters.

If you want a fast, short, and interesting read, try The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls. It's a true story--a memoire. If you like that, then read Half Broke Horses, a true life novel by the same author.

Don't really like cleaning but like things clean. I'm ironing today--mostly stuff I took to Florida--seems like ages ago.
