I'm starting this so my Rally peeps have a place to land and connect, until we can once again be opponents! Wink

Wish I had gotten involved with Marlboro contests before OWTW4. Of course I probably wouldn't have been able to except for the summer one. Work always kept me too busy.
I'm going to read a few more posts and then call it a night. Goodnite to you.wave

That's when I started also and it was a search about the dart score that led me to SD and that incredible forum. We need to keep each other informed about upcoming contests like the Newport and Camel ones that are going on now so we get in on them at the beginning. I think FRA is the perfect place for that info! nod

I think it was you that got me going on the Newport one. 99er had posted the one about Camel in advance. For the Newport one, I'm just not sure when their week begins and ends. I wrote to them but I didn't hear back.

I get a reminder email from them every Monday, so it might be from Monday to Sunday. Smilie

That's what I'm thinking, too. I did enter for the second time this past Sunday, so I guess it's safe for me to enter any day now.

Have never smoked a Newport.

I did pick up some Camel light 100s with my coupons. They are just fine. The packages had an extra $.50 off so I ended up getting 2 packs for less than I normally pay for one pack of Marlboro's.

So happy you're here SBL...we missed you!heart

Wilson is so sweet and wonderful! He's calm and well behaved and is quite the kisser! The only problem he has, is some very bad itching, which doesn't seem to be from fleas. Several people have told us that Labradors in particular can be allergic to corn, which is in most dog food. So we switched to a different food, and I think he is getting better already. That might explain why he laid down in a mud puddle on his first walk in the yard. I don't think it was his first attempt at swimming!

We are having some serious Rain
When we first got our cats (went to the shelter for one, came home w/two...you know how that goes), we took them to the Vet for the check-up, shots, and the six mo. flea shot. Everything was great, except Sparkle (he's now an old fat man) had The Itch. He had bald patches from scratching. We changed the food, the litter, the laundry detergent (God forbid that while he was shoving me out of what was once my bed, the linens would irritate his sensitive skin). After seven or eight months of that, he was fine. It was the flea shot. I'm sure that ultimately you'll find out what's making poor Wilson itch. Has he had a history of this? He's so handsome and cuddly!

OH! BTW, yesterday was Lizardo's birthday. I see that she slithered in and out of here w/o mentioning it (unless I didn't read prior posts. oops). You know me, though ... I never miss an opportunity to remind someone that they're aging by the minute! Big Grin
HAPPY (BELATED) BIRTHDAY, LIZARDO!!!!

Hello heroine and reprimander! Glad you're here!

I took Wilson to the vet a few days ago and he got a cortizone shot. Blood tests for allergies run between $300-$400, so I opted not to do that just yet. We have him on allergy pills and topical stuff, and are hoping a change in his diet will help. It may take some time. He has scratched himself raw in places, but it's kind of like a kid with a mosquito bite...he can't leave it alone. I feel bad about it, but I am trying to keep him calm and not worry too much myself. I think he is happy here. My BF/hubby is annoyed with me somewhat, but is super with animals overall. I have faith it will work out. They told us he had itching problems when we got him, but I think they downplayed it. I am wondering now if that is why he needed to be adopted in the first place, as he is about six years old.

PS) I sent you a PM.

Hey SBL! Sounds like you're feeling better and are back to your old smarta$$ ways! This is the best news I've had all year! woot
What does MWAH stand for? I can't keep up all these things... too darn old! And no, Edd's not with me.... better check with CCG.... she's had her eye on him for a long time and might have abducted him while you were recovering! Wink

Uh, newsflash!! The smarta$$ problem is ingrained ... even hereditary (chat w/my sons, you'll see). It never sleeps.
No cheating on urban dictionary! Tell me five things you thought MWAH means, then I'll tell you.
Oh, that CCG! I saw that she was hitting on my husband, too! hehehe I read that & fell out laughing! That's just how rumors get started.
Freaki' NNNN! The key still sticks!

Quick! How old will the Camel be? Question 2. I'm not reading for a Camel prize that I'll never receive! Won the $20 gc three times ... we'll see.

The only thing that I can think of at the moment is My White A$$ Hurts!
I can't believe this.....you're finally here and I have to leave for work. If the boss isn't hanging over my shoulder I'll log on when I get there. Maybe by that time I'll come up with some more answers. Sadbye
