Holy shit... Dropbox was hitting my CPU hard just a minute ago. My temp got up to around 198 degrees, and my fans were at top speed. I closed it, and it dropped down to the high 140s.

I may be going back to the latest stable build since I have the space already.

Okay, your MBP was doing that, too? Mine did it last night and I couldn't figure out if it was Dropbox or Time Machine backup because the temperature was already dropping when I sat down to check out why my fans were running on high.

(And I use Fahrenheit as well High Five)

Yeah, I was in class and was deleting some stuff using Transmit while syncing some stuff using Espresso... And my Espresso project folder is symlinked to my Dropbox account. I figured it was Transmit at first since I was deleting a hefty chunk of stuff via SFTP, but it stopped sounding like it was gonna take off when I shut down Dropbox. I guess it still is in beta... laugh out loud
