Yeah, I ordered it last night. The biggest trick will be learning bow technique, but there are books and YouTube videos and stuff for that. Fingering is the same as mandolin, so other than maybe the spacing being off, that shouldn't give me too much trouble.

And I'm not familiar with that song.

I've been wanting to do that with the piano. My mom set me up for lessons when I was young and I learned a good deal - but kind of hated it. It's just..a piano is rather large.
I'm hoping I can borrow my parents digital piano since they have 2 other regular pianos. Crazy

I've thought about trying to learn violin, but I've heard that a lot of people start out thinking they'll learn it and get frustrated and stop. So I've been kinda hesitant. However, my aunt was a music teacher and plays violin for a local symphony orchestra, so I think I'll ask her for some beginner's stuff and see how I do with that.
