I wouldn't really put CFA in the "processed" category though. Certainly not as much as most fast food places.

I got and get my ashes every year, i dont care what you call it, i do it. I went to catholic school as a kid and have been confirmed. I am not a practicing catholic in all ways, but still do some things, such as give up things for lent, including meat on Fridays. I dont go to church b/c I do not believe you need to in order to believe in a higher being. And bc I feel the Catholic church is money driven, just my opinion due to things I have seen and been apart of.

Iagree I hope my post didn't come off as judgmental, as that was not my intention at all. I was just saying that most Catholics think of Ash Weds as a Holy Day. It is an important day for many Catholics to prepare for and start their Lenten journey. I think it is great that you participated in Ash Weds mass!

Regardless of your religion/creed it is between you and your God. hug

Neato. I made a smoothie this morning today. But mine was just one apple, one orange, one banana, one ice cube, and a splash of goji juice. High Five Fits perfect in a pint glass.

So I see there is a 5 Guys burger joint on 72nd and Dodge. I've heard many good reviews. I'll be in that area at the hospital tomorrow for an appt. Maybe I'll pick some up for dinner. Problem is, I made burgers on Sunday for dinner, so twice in 1 week might be overdoing it.
