The drug would be absorbed very quickly (it is also absorbed through skin when in solution.....the drug comes as a white powder but is readily dissolved in methanol) and enter into your system. A high enough dose will not only numb any pain but will also potentially stop your respiration....which could lead to death if not treated quickly. We have a special drug (forget the name) that will help kickstart your breathing if you are exposed to a high enough dose of this drug. If you are allergic to morphine then you would most likely be allergic to fentanyl.

I work with a drug known as fentanyl...it is 80-100 times stronger than morphine and an incredibly small amount (way less then a gram of it) is sometimes enough to kill a person..........
whats the use for it? what do you guys use it for?

My first guess would be to treat sudden shock or trauma caused from a deficiency of hot pockets

The company I work for is working on making a generic patch for this drug. This patch would release a certain amount at a steady rate over a period of 72 hours. We are currently testing the patches for stability issues over time to make sure they hold up, maintain their purity and effectiveness, etc. This drug is mainly given to people who have become morphine tolerant. In other words they have had so much that morphine no longer does the job. So you usually end up having people take fentanyl who are chronically ill, cancer patients, terminally ill, etc. But you will also see some doctors administer it in small doses for when you get a colonoscopy (I don't speak from experience....Lux....haven't you had a few? Maybe you got fentanyl) and other situations.

Yes...that severe shock would be somewhat lessened by fentanyl.....laugh out loud

or maybe you could invent hot pockets that came with a small dose of fentanyl inside....you know....a little extra something to make the day go by

As a freelance proctologist, I never use painkillers when I give my colonoscopies.

Are you doing clinical tests at Hershey Medical Center. I hear they are looking for people with chronic back pain that take medication daily. They want to try a patch with them...

Oh and lets not talk about colonoscopies. They are an unfortunate fact of life but only every 10 years. I have eight more years and I would rather not waste that time pondering them.

Good idea, why give painkillers when a simple hot pocket could serve the same purpose...broccoli and cheese i feel would be the best suited for a tube up the ass
