One of the other forums I go to has one of these threads and I've been turned on to some good movies that other regulars just watched. I was kind of surprised not to see a similar thread here (at least not that I could find.)
I just rewatched "Kinamand" - a cute drama about a Danish plumber who gets involved in an arranged marriage with a Chinese illegal. Good stuff (Netflix instant.)
So what have you folks watched recently?

Have Red for the weekend and should have another Blu-ray, but Netflix has finally started to throttle me, and I'm pissed at them.
very interesting movie
RED - Watched this tonight and it was entertaining after you totally suspend reality.

Ronin: Fast paced and well done action scenes (especially car chases), but I found the end kind of unsatisfying.
American History X: Second time seeing it and it still was really good.
It's Kind of a Funny Story: Nice story and Zach Galifianakis is HILARIOUS.
Jet Li's Warlords: 8.5/10. Jet Li fans should enjoy this movie. I believe this is his best acting. Lots of huge battle scenes, similar to Braveheart battle scenes.
Red Cliff 1 & 2: 8/10. I thought part one was slow. Like part 2 a lot. Awesome war stagedies. Yes, I liked Warlords more than Red Cliff...call me crazy.
Battle of the Warriors: 7/10. Still decent movie, I didn't enjoy it as the above two movies.
Ip Man: 8.5/10. Awesome fight scenes. Good enough story.
Ip Man 2: 8/10. Awesome fight scenes as well. Especially the table fights. Somehow I didn't like it as much as the first one.
A Frozen Flower: 8/10. Movie is about a love triangle between a gay Korean Emperor, his lover, and the Empress. There is martial arts, lots of heterosexual sex scenes, and a few gay moments. But overall, a good movie if you are a little open minded. Of course, I looked away from the gay scenes...sorry. My wife thought that I was funny because she asked me if I would of looked away if it was two ladies and I said "No" if it was two ladies. LOL.
Solomon Kane: 7/10. I really wanted to love this movie, but only ended up liking it. Not as sinister and over the top as I had hope for. Storyline was kinda just basic and plain. Sometimes, graphics was less than good....especially in the beginning, thought I was watching a Sci-Fi channel movie.
A-Team: 8.5/10. Very enjoyable movie. Much, much better than I thought. Lots of funny parts and enough action.
Daisy: 8/10. A Korean movie about a cop, a contract killer, and a girl. A little bit for both gender. It has enough action to keep me watching and enough of a love story to keep my wife watching as well. Overall, we both enjoyed the movie. Loved the ending.
Legend of the Guardians: 8.5/10. I enjoyed this movie a lot more than I expected. Wife and I liked it more than How to Train your Dragon. Amazing grapics.
Appleseed 1 and 2: 8.5/10. Really enjoyed this japanation. Saw it a few years ago but went back to rewatch it. If you are a fan of Sci-Fi animation like Robotech, you'll enjoy this movie. Good storyline, good animation.
Hellsing: 9/10. I went back and rewatch this older Japanese Animation and enjoyed it as much as I did the first time I watched it. Horror/Vampire movie. Not for kids. Lots of violence. One of my favorite japanese animation ever. Was suprise who was the main character. I wish they would make a real life version of this anime.

I have Paranormal Activity 2 from Netflix at home right now ... won't even have a chance to watch before the weekend ... or I could just return it and get the next Movie on my Netflix list by then if I send it back now ...
what do?

I just added PA2 to my library queue and can't wait to
I just finished "The Expendables" I swear I had to put on the subtitles for just Stallone. So wait with all these sexy men, especially Statam and nobody got laid? It was just bullets, loud guns, muscles, more explosions and a dame, lame...how very lame
"Takers" was interesting because it was about robbing banks and who can you trust? Do you trust the ex-con, the boss with the crack head sister, or the man who stole your girl
You know what, in "The Town" I did like the silent explosions which made it much more cinematic. In Expendables, all of these loud explosion were unnecessary.
