One of the other forums I go to has one of these threads and I've been turned on to some good movies that other regulars just watched. I was kind of surprised not to see a similar thread here (at least not that I could find.)
I just rewatched "Kinamand" - a cute drama about a Danish plumber who gets involved in an arranged marriage with a Chinese illegal. Good stuff (Netflix instant.)
So what have you folks watched recently?

she's so skinny and just overall
Skyline sucked ass. Big time. Don't waste your money and/or time.
One of my favorite sci-fi horror movie. The FX may be dated but they are still awesome (in a funny way). Must watch for any sci-fi horror fans! I just found out they are making a prequel to it and it's coming out this year, hope it does justice to the original.
generic
lame
2/5 won't watch again
the causes - there were a few times when it did get overly preachy, but for the most part it stayed on point.
"Inside Man" - Bank heist film. It started out really strong but completely fizzled 2/3 of the way through.
"Arthur" - I wanted to see the Dudley Moore original before the remake comes out. Not bad at all.
"Another Year" - British film. It was a really slow moving character piece. It was interesting enough.
"Babette's Feast" - A foreign film from the 80s - really good.

It was very thought provoking and I will definitely watch it again.
Some of the scenes were scary as a kid but it will probably make you giggle now. Doesn't take away from the movie though. That spider-head was awesome.

Some of those translation in the movie were hilarious...like the words they learned from the VCR tape.

I recently watched another great foreign film entitled "Mother"?
It was a 9.5/10 for me.
It's about a woman whose son, Do-Joon, is accused of brutally killing a young school girl. Now, Do-Joon is mentally slow and seems to be an easy person for the police to accuse in order to close the case. His mother makes it her mission to show he is innocent.
I really loved it.

It's like SD Movie Club here. I wanted to get Switch cuz Jason rocks my world but passed on it. Watching Unstoppable tonight. Last night:
No Tomorrow - documentary that had me arguing with the screen. It's about the murder of Risa Bejarano, who had 8 scholarships and was on her way to college after a bad childhood and a stint in foster care. Risa's life was featured in a different documentary called Aging Out which focused on her life in foster care. No Tomorrow focuses on how the prosecution used and manipulated footage of the first film in order to obtain the death sentence for her murderer. No matter how you feel about the death penalty or what the prosecution did, it is a great albeit sad film that will make you think.
