One of the other forums I go to has one of these threads and I've been turned on to some good movies that other regulars just watched. I was kind of surprised not to see a similar thread here (at least not that I could find.)
I just rewatched "Kinamand" - a cute drama about a Danish plumber who gets involved in an arranged marriage with a Chinese illegal. Good stuff (Netflix instant.)
So what have you folks watched recently?

Here are some that I've seen since I ran away:
About a Boy - Very cute movie about...um...a boy.
The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia (WOW! Unbelievable! Amazing!) - It's a documentary about a family named "White".
A Crude Awakening: The Oil Crash - An Oil documentary that will scare the pants off you. It's about Peak Oil. I watched it as a tool for a paper I'm writing on Peak Oil, Oil Conservation, etc.
In a Day - A story about a guy who confronts a girl after many years to apologize for bullying her during childhood by giving her a perfect day.
Romance & Cigarettes - All-star cast. Not a very good movie. It was a musical - enh.
Watched a couple of Brian Regan comedy specials. Standing Up and The Epitome of Hyperbole. The 2nd was better.
I'm rewatching The State. Love it!
I'm watching Nip/Tuck, Dexter, and Monk. Never seen them.
Then we watched The Morgue- and after a lot of confusion in the first 30 minutes of wondering what was going on because it made no sense at all - I fell asleep.

After conjoined twin are separated against their will, they seek revenge on those who performed the operation. The monster twin is carried around in a basket (get it? Basket Case ahahahaha). Yea, sound every bit as shitty as it sounds, but if you are willing to suffer through the worst dialogue/acting/directing/sound editing you will ever see or hear, you can enjoy some hilarious scenes. I enjoyed the super crappy stop motion in one scene and the necrophilia scene had me in tears. No I am not sick, you would laugh too if you watched that part.

Nice little character study. Thoroughly enjoyed it. It's one of those "makes you think about things" kind of movies.
"Lord of the Flies" - The original one from the 1960s. It was very true to the book from what I remember. It doesn't hold up well as a film, but I'm sure it was OK for the time.
