Hello, everyone. My daughter's friend is missing. From all reports, she ran away with her boyfriend on Monday, April 11. The last message that she left said that she was going to shut her phone off and throw it out the car window. That call was placed in Fond du Lac, WI.
I know this is a HUGE site and gets a lot of traffic, so I'm asking if everyone could keep an eye out for her car. It is a light green 2006 Ford Focus, Wisconsin plate 842 KDV.
Casey is 5'6, medium to thin build with shoulder length dark hair. Kris (her boyfriend) is 17 years old, a bit taller with shoulder length blonde shaggy hair. He is running away from legal trouble (I don't know what kind of trouble) but it should be noted that he stole a car 2 years ago and was found in New Mexico after 2 days. Because of that fact, they could be anywhere.
If you see them or their car, please call the police.
Here [facebook.com] is a link to a facebook page her mother created. It contains photos and more information.
Thank you for reading! I know her mother is frantic, and we are trying to get the message out so hopefully she can be brought home safely.

so you, of course, have talked to your child and asked if they ever thought about running away etc and made sure they know what options exist in the event they are having problems they dont feel comfortable talking to you about them etc etc….
shes a kid and shes being selfish, everyone is allowed to be selfish at times but there has to be a reason why she decided to leave… maybe her parents are all they are cracked up to be, maybe she got preggers, maybe she thinks shes in love, maybe she just wants to get away from it all…. there is more to the story though

I do believe Casey thinks she is in love with the boy she ran off with. I don't think she thought ahead to the consequences of her actions.
Please do post updates OP! Praying for her safe return, for her family and for you as you have to handle all of the emotions with this situation so close to home.
I don't think it's fair to judge the girl like some of the remarks made here. No one really knows what's going on - in her family, in her head, whether the boyfriend is manipulating her, forcing her, etc... The boyfriend may have gotten off with a slap on the wrist because of jail overcrowding but the consequences have changed drastically. As that dawns on him he will only become more desperate to avoid going to jail.
Each desperate choice will likely garner him more time behind bars and he's too young to really think all that through. Teens are very here and now living in the moment with all their emotions and decisions. God forbid she tries to leave him at some point. I pray for her safe return but mostly for a better future for them both.

...are you sure you want to do that?
OP, I hope your friend's daughter is found safe and I hope the people who are acting like fools on FB come to realize how hurtful they're being.

What do I know?
You never know, it might spark something and make her want to come home. All publicity is good publicity, at this point. It'll get her face out there. Maybe your friend could even get it on the national news!

I hope she's safe, and that she checks in soon.
