thanks am. i'm going to bug you if i do end up going. not sure if i'll keep my apt.. that's a breaking point for me. i don't want to get rid of my furniture/electronics if i move in with my relatives. i like my stuff.. its not worth it to store it, and not worth to replace it.

Here's the thing.... if you're moving in with THEM - THEY need to pay to store your stuff, or make room for it in the house. You are doing them a favor. Your life can't stop. I let my grandparents pay my gas to drive back and forth and back and forth to their house 2 hrs away for errands for them. I paid my own gas for the funeral.

There is so much, but step #1 is to have them set up a medical and financial POA and a will. They also need an advanced directive on file ASAP. Each of them.

hug It's a huge commitment. Today I spent 4 hrs at the doctor with her, and I made my parents go with me. They asked if they should wait in the waiting room. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) I had to find child care. I had to get there, sit through it, answer all the questions, pay the bills and shlep her back to the home in time for meds and dinner. This is not easy!!! I need them to see that. There is a follow up appt in 2 weeks. I think I'll let them take her alone.

yeah, that's why i'm still waiting word. i'm not giving up my apt. i'll go help, but either my aunts nearby or my grandparents are putting me up. i do not want to live in sac for the rest of my life. luckily i have no commitments so i can do whatever they need me to do.

i haven't been there yet, but hug understanding a lot more what you're going through.

fyi, plenty of xanax on hand. friendly docs ftw Smilie
