Okay. Apparently, when you try to do an install from the recovery partition, it will check against your Apple Store ID to make sure you've bought it or something similar. I can't remember if it's you that said it, or if I read it somewhere else.

In essence, I wouldn't be surprised if they attempted to do some sort of restore that would require your Apple Store ID to ensure it was purchased legitimately.

Yeah, I said that earlier today. I bought it today because of that AND if you purchase Lion you get 90 days of Apple Care (mine expired in April).
