As you probably already know, there is a frenzy for the $99 and $149 HP Tablets. The thread in the Hot Deals is breaking records for number of posts and viewers.

Did you get one? How many (so far)? Doesn't matter how many are confirmed, just how many you ordered.

Are they for an Orphanage? laugh out loud

I bought 1 32g for myself, two 16g for my brother and sister. Not sure I will get any of them since I just bought them 5:00pm yesterday on onsale.

Save the eBay fees and sell them out of your dorm room to your mates. Even if you only make $50 each, it will net you a enough to cover your food for a few weeks. Also, by waiting a few weeks, you'll avoid the market flood. I might even hold on to them until November.

BTW: I didn't buy any to resell. But I have sold other things in the past and waiting can be helpful when the market is flooded.

I ordered one through HP small business, but I never got a confirmation email, so I ordered one through a seller on Amazon. Today I checked the status on HP and it said "Your order is approved and being sent to order management." So, I'll probably end up with 2 (32GB) models, hoping to sell the 2nd one to cover most of the cost of the 1st one, and end up with a $50-100 32GB model.

I got mine yesterday at Best Buy with no wait or hassle (although the people who didn't order online for instore pickup sure did). laugh out loud
